Palo on Pirate night, have you experienced this?

On our last cruise in January we had dinner in Palo in pirate night. We were seated by the window and Stitch was walking by in pirate costume and started banging on the windows and sticking his face up next to them, looking in and waving. DH and I kind of waved back and after a few seconds he moved on to the next window. We asked our server if this was common and he said yes, it happens sometimes. I thought it was pretty obnoxious. Anyone else ever see this?

We regularly plan Palo on pirate night. In 5 cruises over the last two years we've never seen that happen.

I cant imagine it actually does happen often. It was just so weird and out of place. I mean, people go to Palo for a quite dinner and here there is a character literally banging on the windows!

In defense of Stich, it is in his charcter to be obnoxious, agressive and cunning!

We'll be eating in Palo in a couple of weeks; will report back if that obnoxious guy stops by! I agree, his trademark is to be obnoxious and "out there" and it probably is very dependent upon who is "friends" with him at that time!

We are doing Palo on Pirate night in October, I will keep an Eye out For Stitch.
I'm ok with Stitch chapping the Wondow in Palo! it is Disney after all.

Mmmm....No. Not when I was there. I would have thought it funny, though.

He was literally banging on the window. Completely inappropriate for Palo IMO. Sure it is Disney but don't allow jeans in the restaurant you would think they would try to keep the atmosphere. If it were the MDR I would think nothing of it.

I am glad to know it is not the norm. I would think if it were others would have mentioned it here before.

I am surprised that people are saying it is ok and they would find it funny. What if it were Remy on the Dream or Fantasy? Would it still be ok?

While I have not seen Stitch at Palo dinner, I did get a close up of a woman's backside in her swimsuit during brunch. "No more for me. I'm full, thanks."

Btw- Stitch pounding on the windows wouldn't have bothered me at all at any of the venues on DCL.

Absolutely would be acceptable. A little bit of levity goes a long way in life. If you can't understand that is stich's schtick than you must be on the wrong cruise. Now if it was a drunk passenger then it would be inappropriate

I can see how this would be annoying, but I personally don't see the characters as just for kids and Palo is a place where adults can go and eat "adult" food and leave the kids behind. Seeing a character in an adult situation is very different from a character with kids surrounding him/her... Stitch coming by really just is part of the ambiance...

We've dined at Palo on Pirate night for 7 cruises, on all 4 ships, & never saw Stitch or any other character for that matter. Sounds like a Hoot to me.
