OH, Lisa, it's sooooo depressing at this point. I don't mind the cold, it's the amount of snow that I cannot stand! I want to thank you for mentioning Duck Dynasty in your TR. My hubby and I are HOOKED now! Those boys are a riot! But I really can't stomach Ms. Kay frying up squirrel. Yuck!

It was looking so hopeful for about 2 weeks or so. The birds were singing, I saw a few random flies....yep, Spring WAS on the way....

Not happy about this forecast Poor Bradey will be going to school the whole month of June if this keeps up. Good luck tomorrow...and Wednesday, looks like it will be ending later up there.
I'm sorry Suzi, but remember, the southern part of Maine got more snow this year than we did. There were a couple of storms that hit south of Augusta that never made it up this way. So, here I sit at work, slaving away as the Governor thinks the roads are just fine for his State workers......whatever. I have a whole 1/2 mile to drive to get home. I think I'll be fine!

Enough Winter already!!!!!!!
Yay for Arizona!! And no, you didn't scream that at all! Just like I'm not screaming I'M LEAVING ON FRIDAY FOR FLORIDA FOR THE WEEKEND!!! See? No yelling there, right? Orlando has been averaging 81 degrees this week, so I'm hoping it will continue. Either way, I know there won't be any snow!!

Glad to hear that you're enjoying Duck Dynasty as much as we do! I hate to admit it but I've had fried squirrel before. It was John's Papaw's favorite dish. The Robertsons are a wonderful family and their faith is strong which is evident despite all of their silliness shown on the show. If you ever wants links to some of their testimony videos, let me know.

Oh my gosh, Ann! Just as I was about to say that I couldn’t believe the snowfall predictions, I read down and saw that they were predicting more! I truly hope this doesn’t interfere with your travel plans this weekend! I know you are going to enjoy the Florida weather even more now that you are leaving all of that snow behind!

SNOW UPDATE......Augusta only got 10 inches. Now I know how silly that must sound to you folks down south, but that was the lower end of the prediction, so this was very good!! Peter did snowblow this morning and by lunch time, the portion he did snowblow was already melted down to the tar! Yay! Alot of it did melt today. It was in the upper 30's today, so that was awesome. Doesn't really feel like the first day of Spring, but oh well....what do I care, because......I'LL BE IN FLORIDA IN 2 DAYS!!! Today I took money out of the bank although apparently you can only take out so much, so I will have to swing by the atm tomorrow as well. I was able to get my prescription filled that I sent in 4 days ago. (The pharmacy was waiting for doctor approval). I filled my little weekly pill container, so that's all ready to go. I got Victoria's meds all ready to go, too. We are almost packed totally and plan on putting the bags in the car tomorrow night. I also have to fill the car with gas tomorrow as well.

The Toe Update......so, I have a resistant bacteria in my toe! The first antibiotic didn't work. Yesterday my toe was just as red and swollen as it had been last week. I went back to the doctor's yesterday and they gave me another type of antibiotic. I just hope and pray I will be ready to go for Friday.

How is your toe feeling now? I hope it gets better! You’re leaving tomorrow!!! It’ll be nice for you to get away from that weather! Yes, down here in the DC area, 10 inches of snow would have us completely shut down for at least two days! So it sounds like you are all set for your trip! I am so excited for you!

Oh Ann... between the snow and the toe...

It's great though that you were able to get away to warmer climes... I hope the toe didn't give you problems...

I'll look forward to reading all about Florida...

PLAYLIST LIVE 2013

I was in the cold car ready to go. I was going to Orlando, after all and as usual, we were waiting on Victoria. Not quite sure what she was doing still inside the house though. Finally she was out the door and we left the driveway at 4:17am. GRRRRRR. I’m hoping we don’t be late and I’m hoping security will be a piece of cake to get through. We parked in long term parking (at $12 per day) and we were in the airport at 5:25am. Our flight was at 6am. Eeeek!!! I got a wonderful free pat down in security due to my forgetting not to were sparklies on my shirt…..how could I have forgotten that??!!! I was the only one stopped, of course! As we walked to the gate, they were already boarding. Well I didn’t care because my bladder had an appointment with the ladies room and it wasn’t going to be stopped. Fortunately other passengers had the same idea as we did because we weren’t the last ones to board. Phew! The de-icing trucks had to come and de-ice the wings a bit before we took off. Those little de-icing trucks are so cute! They remind me of the large lazer guns from Stitch’s Great Escape! Then we were off. It was a pretty uneventful flight---little to no turbulance at all! This was Kali’s first flight EVER!!! She did awesome!

Let’s take a minute and introduce Kali. She’s Victoria’s very best friend and have been so for a couple of years now. She’s 14 and goes to the same high school as Victoria. She stays overnight at our house practically every weekend. If she’s not at our house, Victoria is over there. I just love this child. She’s a great influence on Victoria! She has a crazy sense of humor and she’s actually a lot like me! She makes me laugh! Her family is from the same type of background as ours is, so she fits right in!

We landed at Baltimore at 7:35am and our flight to Orlando was at 8:05am, so again there was no time to eat, but we did make a pit stop in the restrooms before boarding. Yes, I’m from the school of “pee before we go”. It was another smooth flight and it was very exciting to see the coast of Florida coming into view. I’m home! It didn’t take very long to find Ground Transportation. Although, where the heck is Magical Express now? Did it move? I didn’t see it at all and I thought it was at the very end of the place, but nothing. Was I just in the wrong place?? I hope I get this figured out before August!! I mean usually when we go down the escalator we would turn right and go to the end. Anyways we were looking for the taxi stand and a driver comes up and offers us a ride in a Town Car for $55! I was expecting $60, so that was cool!

The Caribe Royale!! OH MY GOODNESS!! What a beautiful hotel it was! Its made up of a reception building and 3 towers. We were in Tower 2, Room 2336 on the third floor. From our window we could see the Convention Center where the girls are going to be. Nice. As soon as we entered the lobby the girls started seeing the popular YouTubers! They were freaking out! It was too cute! I didnt expect to see the stars out walking amongst the people. I know that probably sounds a bit weird, but I didnt expect them to be normal people who just happen to make videos for You Tube. We got settled in our room and heaven forbid Victoria be seen without her makeup on (this will only be the third time in history this child wears makeup, but oh, to see YouTubers, we HAD to have our makeup on!!) I applied her makeup at her demand, I mean request, and off to the café for a bite of lunch. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS!!! I guess Im just used to being on the dining plan and not paying for food. Ugh! I didnt take any food porn pics this trip. Sorry guys. After lunch the girls wanted to go stalking, I mean walk around and see who they could spot so thats what they did while Peter and I hung around the pool for the afternoon. This evening would be dinner at Downtown Disney!!! Here are some of the pics&.

Ann! How could you forget about the issue you had with glitter the last time you went to Orlando? The guys giving the pat-downs must be cute I’m glad you guys made it through security on time. That seemed like a really close one! That is wonderful that Kali and Victoria are such good friends! You can see the excitement in their faces! I wish True would adhere to the “pee before you go” rule! She always “forgets” and ends up having to use the bathroom just about anywhere we go – on a plane, in the movies, at the grocery store Ugh! Anyway, I am glad that you had good flights! How adorable that the girls were freaking out about the YouTube celebs! One day, if the YouTubers become famous, they’ll have pictures with them and can say they knew them way back when! Really cool! Wow, you had a fantastic view from your floor! Gorgeous!

Now I could have been in the wrong concourse but I thought it was B??? Again, I'll have to go look. Maybe I was just too excited to actually be there. .....ok, so I'm editing this to let you all know I just checked out the map of MCO. They haven't changed it. Apparently I was in the A concourse....grrrrrr.......

Oh, and your guide maps went in the mail today!!!!
