Tipping question- cash or card?
When eating at a Disney TS restaurant using the DDP, do you tip with cash or do you use your card to charge the tip?
Just wondering if I should just withdraw enough cash with me to take as tips during our sit-down meals.

We always charge the tip on our KTTW card. We have to give it to the server anyway for the DP credits, so it makes easy to be able to do everything with one card. I never carry cash for anything, and this way you don't have to worry about having the right combination of small bills handy.

I would recommend using your KTTW card for convenience as the pp stated. Another benefit is that you get one bill at the end of your trip that you can pay for with your reward credit card which equates to either free miles for future trips or (if using the Disney card) free future spending Disney dollars.
It's like getting gift at the end of your trip

What's cash?
Once I get into the Disney bubble, the wallet goes into the wall safe and all I carry is my drivers license, annual pass, KTTW card, and the safe key. - I use my KTTW card; I feel better knowing that if I loose it I can go Guest Relations and have it cancelled and re-issued promptly. - With a my credit card, if I cancelled it the bank would be glad to overnight new cards to my home address, but they won't do it (for security reasons) to Disney. - With cash, I'm just out-of-luck. It may be unfounded, but I always worry the wallet could go flying on a more exhilarating attraction.

We figure out what an average total of what we are eating for TS, then take the appropriate amount of 5's and 1's. We already know where we are eating since we have our reservations. We have three people in our room that would all have a different credit card so the kttw card wouldn't work for us. Plus its fun to look at the menus and plan ahead!

Whichever way you go is fine, but I have heard stories of people who left a cash tip on the table and found out upon check out that tips were also charged to their KTTW card. If you opt to leave cash, just make sure that you write that the tip is on table for the copy you sign so it doesn't get run through for a second tip.

Whichever you are more comfortable with. I use cash a lot of the time. I am a cash girl.
