Stroller rental??

I have a 5 and 3 year old and I know we'll want some sort of stroller for them. I'm just trying to decide if it's worth hauling our double through the airport, where we really don't need it, or just renting one at the parks?? How are the rentals...easy to maneuver with older kids? That's my other concern...my 5 year old is technically to big for our stroller..but could cram in there

It seems like A LOT of people rent from Kingdom Strollers and really like them. I would check them out!

I just priced out several companies and Kingdom was the best price, and willing to deliver a stroller by 6 am so I didn't have to pay for an extra night to make sure we had it by the time we were ready to get going on the day we needed it! My kids are 6 (barely) and 3.

I came across A Baby's Best Friend http://www.abbf.com/pricelist.html

From what I can see, they have the best prices, unless I'm missing something.

Looking at the City Mini Double;

Kingdom Strollers - $65 - includes free cooler bag and rain cover

ABBF - $55 - includes free parent console and rain cover (rain cover on availability)

The only thing about the WDW strollers is they are hard. Do they have strollers in your mall? They are similar-hard plastic. At 3 and 5 that may be fine- but you could also rent a soft double stroller in Orlando. I checked out Orlando Stroller rentals before I went with my just under 3yo. I liked the looks of the CityMini so much I just bought my own (not orange!) and gate-checked it. It comes in a double. Babies R Us is renting lots of types now too. All the companies will deliver it to your hotel and pick it up when you're done. The advantage of an offsite rental is you can take it out of the park too-like with two sleeping kids in it My CityMini folds flat and is super light-it was easy to collapse and stow on the disney buses/boats.

Also- the CityMinis have a higher weight limit that a lot of strollers (a reason I used to justify buying one- my DD won't grow out of it soon), And it's a jogging style which are SUPER manouverable- but with solid tires!! We got a trading pin stuck in the tire in the MK, but no problem... The ones like bike tires might have had an issue with that.
Also great for Orlando--the shade is huge, it extends all the way down to the snack tray if you want- so it's like sunscreen on wheels. And when you recline the seat for an on-the-go nap, it is mesh above their head. So if you turn the stroller right, they can get a refreshing bit or air to keep from overheating.

The problem with A Baby's Best Friend, is that they don't have any insurance for loss or damage, at least not that I could find. Personally, I would rather pay a little more and have the piece of mind that I'm not going to be charged for the stroller if something happens to it.
