It's hard to believe it's been 11 years. Morgan was just a baby when the attacks happened. What a horrible horrible day that was. My thoughts are with the families who lost loved ones that day.

I'm home, working on my list. Got a few things marked off already.

Change beds
Wash sheets
Register Vue
Register Formal Occasion cartridge
Points for FO
Cut ice cream cones
Starbucks Cup
Resort Swap - cut and adhere

Call Provo Craft about wireless - Thursday
Make bracelets
Sew stuff on sleep pants - Thursday
Pay bills
Pumpkin blondies OMG, so good!

Banana bread? - Nah, maybe Thursday
Read GS book
Pickup at school
Homework Supervisor
Lunches for tomorrow

Hope everyone has a great day!

I remember 9/11/01 like it was yesterday. I was living in Atlanta at the time and at work. My boss, and dear friend Margie, was on a plane to Boston from Atlanta that was to land in Boston at 9:02am. By 10AM, her roomate called in a panic asking if I had heard from Margie, she was extremely upset. We finally heard from her 30 minutes later. Everyone was glued to the TV in the breakroom. By 1pm they told us all to go home because they thought downtown Atlanta might be another target, Such a sad day, my thoughts and prayers to all the families affected of 9/11.

Both the planes that hit the WTC were from Boston, so I was sure we were going to be next (I'm about an hour outside Boston). It was terrifying. All I could think was what have I done to bring a child into *this* world.

Isn't it amazing that certain events in our lives leave such a lasting image that we actually remember where we were and what we did? I was in my classroom and the principal came and told each teacher, silently, after the first plane struck. We were allowed to turn on our TV's after a brief, not panicky, explanation to our students (7th graders then). I do have some friends who lost family members that day. It was such a sad commentary to watch everything unfold.
