Really late res at O'hana - Page 2 - The DIS Discussion Forums

We've been at that exact time and it is REALLY late. By the time you are finished, it will be past 11:00 (or it was for us with the wait time, etc.). But, look at it this way...you won't need to eat breakfast the next morning!!

BTW it's 'Ohana and not O'hana. They don't serve corned beef and cabbage and potatoes.

We usually get an early reservation and to be honest, they seem to come very quickly with the food all at once. Our last ressie, last year, we sat down ordered drinks and the food was at our table within 10 minutes. The reservation was a little after 5.

We've done Ohana's both early (shortly after 5pm) and late (shortly after 9pm) and there were good and bad things about both settings. When we went at 5 the food all came out super quick, some of the starters weren't warm enough for our tastes and a decent amount of the meats were over cooked (we felt like once they found their groove that might clear up but the opening "rush" meant get a lot of food out quickly).

At the later seating, we waited forever and eventually had to ask to be served and never got the next dish unless we specifically asked for it (this meal took a long time because of that), but once we were served the food was better prepared.

Different times of day, different trips, different waiters and probably different cooks/chefs so of course those are all factors in our experiences.

I say take whatever time you can get your reservations for and give it a try.

Have an answer but I would imagined as long as you show up you CC is not charged.
