Flexibility with dining plans?

We will be travelling with our two kids ages 7 and 3. We have put the dining plan on our package for now but I'm wondering if there is any flexibility with the age requirement. Our 3 year old literally takes 1-2 bites of a meal and then refuses to eat so I hate the thought of getting a meal plan for her. We are hoping there will be free dining but, but still the thought of the waste of food makes me cringe. Will we *have* to order something for her or will we be able to have her eat off our plates and save her meal credits for later?

At a buffet or family style service restaurant, she will be charged a meal credit regardless of how little she eats, but in a restaurant where you order off a menu you certainly don't have to order a meal for her. However, her credits can only be used to purchase off the kids menu (unless the restaurant doesn't have a kids' menu and there are only a few of those).
