I have not found a decent, much less good, cup of coffee anywhere in Animal Kingdom.

Isn't there a Joffrey's (sp) before the entrance on the right side? I thought that was real coffee.

We like the coffee cart right out front, but if you get iced coffee, you get one of those paper straws. I hate the paper straws...

Oooo I forgot about the entrance cart. The one in talking about is pretty far in just after Tuskegee house.

On our first trip, before we started bringing our own coffee with us to WDW, we had to come up with something to drink in those early morning hours and we could barely stomach their coffee.
We ended up ordering one coffee, one hot chocolate, and asked for an extra cup. Then we mixed the two together. A little creamer and/or sweetener if it was especially aweful. It wasn't the best thing we ever drank, but it worked in a pinch and got us through that first trip. Now we bring our own coffee and get the paper travel cups. It's so nice to sit and wait for the bus with a REAL cup of coffee. By the time we get to the park we're all caffeinated and ready to rock.

The Joffrey's coffee stand right outside AK entrance makes very nice coffee drinks. I highly recommend. If you're having an iced drink, what we do is bring our store-bought plastic cups with secure screw-on lid, containing a straw with a ridge on it so it won't slide out. You can buy the cups anywhere, and even Disney sells them with some theme markings on them. Mine are from Starbucks. AK staff allows these particular cups-with-lids-and-straws into the park -- I've brought mine many times.
