Sailing and snorkelling to St.John

I'm looking for a sailing / snorkel charter that would take us to St John. I've seen a lot of charters for 6 people, but wonder if anyone knows of boats with a larger capacity? Last year we did the Turtle Cove sail and snorkel and Honeymoon beach and LOVED it!!! We would like something similar, but would like to see St.John, and since it may be just the 3 of us, we need to find an operation that would allow us to just book 3 spots (as opposed to the whole boat). I think all of the 6 person charters expect you to have an entire group to book together - we might have another group of 3 join us, but we might not.
Any help would be appreciated!

There are alot of companies that you can purchase tours through. We've done a number of them. Just do a seach for St. John Catamaran snorkel tour.

Here's just one:

We did a private sailing excursion a few years ago in St. Thomas. We went with a boat called The Nightwind. We had a group of 11 and it was a great day. They served us breakfast and lunch and the food was very good. They also served drinks, alcoholic or non, all day. The kids must have had 10 cokes each! We sailed to St. Johns and snorkeled Honeymoon Beach. If you have a larger group I would highly recommend them. They even arranged for the cab to pick us and take us back to the cruise terminal.

If boats carry 6 passengers or less, there are less US regulations.

We have booked a day sail on the Independence. A lot of these day sail operators use the same areas.

ETA: We had 4 of us on the sailboat. She gave us the option of allowing her to book 2 more passengers or chartering the whole boat ourselves. It was worth it. I think she had us pay the 5 person rate as a child. It was around $1000. It was about 4 yrs ago.

We have used New Horizons when we stayed in St. Thomas on island. They were great. You may want to email or call and explain that you are on a cruise ship and would there be a problem with time constraints.

Thank you. I was having trouble finding small-ish charters. Most are for 6 people, and it may turn out we only have 3. Not sure I want to charter the entire boat. I'm also hoping to avoid a big crowded boat. So, mid-size is what I'm looking for so that we can just book our 3 tickets. They all seem pretty wonderful!
