Back Home

We are back home now and after a full night and morning of rest I am starting to feel human again. We WAY over did it on this trip and I will be changing our touring style for the next one. Going forward we will be spending more time at the resorts and less time in the parks.

I should have some pictures up in the next hour. I also plan to do a full post trip report this weekend.

Boardwalk

Here are some pictures of the Boardwalk. These were taken first thing in the morning(about 7:30am) which is my favorite time to be down there.

Room View

Below are pictures of the view from our rooms(5081 & 5083) I think our view of the high fireworks from Illuminations was about as good as it gets:

Character Palooza

Here are the pictures from Character Palooza. From what I have been reading we may have attended one of the last ones in the Animation building

In Room Gift Bags

Below are pictures of the in room gift bags I made for the kids. I got lots of ideas to fill them from the creative board.

Some of the things we included were:

Personalized hand held fans
Personalized M&M pressed penny money holders and Mentos pressed penny holders
Invitations to all the special events were were doing
Ponchos
Light up necklesses and bracelets

Pirates Leaque

Our kids loved pirates leaque. Having done BBB last year I must say I liked pirates leaque better. We also timed it very well as the pirates parade started right when our kids were finishing up their sessions and the Jack Sparrow tutorial started right after the parade.

Pirates and Pals Cruise

We had so much fun at this event. The kids loved getting to spend so much time with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee:

Other Boardwalk stuff

Marshmallow Roast at the Beach Club:

Surrey Bikes on the Boardwalk. This is the one thing we did on our trip that I will NEVER do again. There are two hills you have to go over and it was horrible trying to get over them.

Well, congratulations for figuring this out!!!! I toured commando style for 40 trips, and then discovered that resort time can be fun. Glad you found out sooner rather than later.
