DH & I never had kids and we go 2-3 times/year. We bought into DVC, which takes the "Disney without kids adult exeprience" to a whole new level! Nice rooms, big balconies, kicthen with blender for 'adult beverages".....

We have a running joke that "Disney is no place for children".

We have been there with kids (friends & relatives) and it's great to see it through a child's eyes.

It's a completely different vacation without kids though...more time spent enjoying the resort, more time spent doing only those things that you want to do as opposed to things that you have to do for the kids (really how many times can one ride IASW???). Nicer dinners, the ability to wander aimlessly through the WS @ Epcot sampling the different cocktails in the different countries...the pace of an adult WDW vacation is different.

My kids are coming up on 17 and 15 and they still love WDW. I also have plenty of adult friends who like it, so if my kids didn't want to go, I'd just go with one of my friends.

We were there in Aug with my sister's family. There were 6 kids ranging from 20 to 27. They had a blast.

Dh and I are planning to go to DL in 2018 for our 40th anniversary. AS soon as we mentioned it ds2 was checking out airfares.
