Kid's Club on B2B

I am looking into possibly booking a B2B. Do you register them for both cruises in the kid's club. My DS is 10 1/2 and was thinking it might be cool to try Edge. I thought this might be a great chance to see if he likes it if they have to be reregistered for the second leg so he can go to the clubs if he doesn't like Edge yet.

We did a b2b last year and I registered my daughter for each cruise. They are two separate cruises. If he joins the club for the first and wants to stay for the second cruise, you would still need to return the bracelet for the first cruise and get a new one when you board on the second cruise.

I would think that if you registered your son for the club but he wanted and was permitted to join the Edge, you can just let GS know that he will not be using the club. Someone had posted that you can only be in one or the other.

For a B2B, they are officially separate cruises and therefore kids club registration is done for each segment. I'm not sure if a 10 1/2 yr old will be allowed a choice of Lab vs. Edge...definitely 11 and 12 yr olds. What ages have been allowed choice has changed quite often during the past year. It may depend how many kids of each age group are registered on each cruise.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you so much! I figured we would have to check on the cruise if he would be allowed in Edge or have to wait until his birthday cruise next year. I know he still likes some of the club/lab activities, but he's definitely at the age that the older club is "cooler"

The Edge is for kids 11-14. You can ask the CMs on the first cruise whether they will allow him to move up. The Lab programming is geared for ages 8-12, so your child will fit there perfectly.

As to B2Bs, each cruise is a separate entity. Separate on line check in, different dates, etc.
