Tokyo Dining vs Teppan Edo

We have decided to have dinner one more night in Epcot on our upcoming trip. We already have reservations for Via Napoli and Akershus for dinner. We are looking for another restaurant for dinner also and thought of these two. I see much more for Teppan Edo than Tokyo Dining. What are your thoughts on these, recommendations? Thank you!

Teppan Edo is the cooking at yourtabledining experience. Great food and show. Tokyo Dining has a great view of the lagoon from many tables and a variety of yummy cooked food choices and a fantastic sushi menu. Both are great, one has a view, the other a show.

I think the food is better at Tokyo Dining but there's no entertainment!

We recently at at Teppan Edo. The swordfish is very, very, very good. :-) I thought it was a little on the loud side. Great with kids, but if it's just two adults, I would have picked Tokyo Dining.

Yes, for us on a date night it is always Tokyo Dining, we don't want to spend our date with another family sharing our table. If we want thatwe'll bring our own kids!

Haven't done Tokyo Dining. Just did Teppan Edo for the first time. i dithered like crazy and up until the day of, was tempted to switch to Coral Reef.

We ended up ordering 2 adult meals to share between ourselves and our 2 kids (on DDP but didn't feel the kids would eat their whole meals). They were so wonderful and the chef split up all our portions to slide onto each plate. They brought extra bowls of rice for my kids - for free because our meals came with unlimited rice.

The food was wonderful. It was our first hibachi show and it was soooo good and so much fun for the kids.

We all loved it and rolled out of there stuffed. (btw - the filet mignon was very good as was the swordfish steak)

We have done both and prefer the hibachi. At Teppen Edo the hibachi is very good and entertaining, granted it isnt the value like a local joint but it is still fun and tasty. Tokyo Dining can get loud because it is in the lobby of the two restaurants, the battered items are tasty and the view of Epcot (if you are lucky enough to get a window seat) is nice
