I am going to be staying at pofq in july. I have been looking into the gifts of a lifetime for my wife, and i was just wondering if anybody has used it before and how it was. They have emailed me back with 2 ideas to do and i think they sound great, just not sure if $300 dollars worth of greatness. Please let me know what you think. Thanks

I was going to be asking about this pretty soon. We will be celebrating our anniversary while at Disney and was thinking about trying it out. Can't wait to see if you get any answers.

Thanks! I was just thinking about this the other day, and couldn't remember what it was called. I haven't done one yet, but I probably will at some point.
They're basically an event planning service that does detailed surprises. My DH is incredibly easy to please, but I know he would love something planned especially for him. One of his favorite things about Disney is wearing the buttons you can get, because it makes him feel special when people say "congratulations". I'm pretty sure he'll throw a minor fit if we ever go on a trip and he doesn't get a button. I'm also anxious to see the responses you get. Technically, I could plan a private event through Disney for around $300 (though most are more) so it would have to be more special than that.

The ideas they have sent me are really interesting and i think would be very memorable for everyone involved even me. I was just hoping that someone could help us out who has used them and let us know if it was worth the 300 dollars and if everything went smoothly.

They ask that you not talk to people about the ideas. They want to keep everything a surprise for possible future customers. That's probably why it's never been brought up on the Dis boards before.

If it wasn't Disney, I would say it sounds a little shady. Wouldn't any business want positive advertising of it's product, without secrecy. Just saying...

DH had an event for my birthday several years ago, and it was fantastic. We're working with Jane now to schedule an event for my son's birthday next month. Definitely worth the money!

Question here :
Is the $300 like a planning/cordinator fee, and then you pay for whatever said proposed activity/events or does the $300 mean the planner/cordinator and a choice of said proposed activites/events ? |

My husband did this for me about 6 years ago. It was a really fun idea, and we really enjoyed it, but I almost lost it when I found out the cost. SO not worth it! I am sure you can recreate a fun idea on your own.
Also, the girl who ran it for us in the park was pretty annoying. We didn't have much dealing with her, but when we did it wasn't very fun. For something like a proposal or the like, then yes! It's worth it all day. This was for my 24th birthday and maybe that's why the cost got me.

UPDATE: I just talked to my husband about this and he said that he liked it and liked working with them. ha! so ignore my last post I guess.
We just agreed that it's the perfect present for the Disney fan that has done it all. If you still have lots to see there, then wait a few years, if you have seen it all and are looking for a new activity, then it's perfect!

I haven't heard of this before. Where can I find more info? Is it on the Disney site?
