La Hacienda- TIW?

I have seen previous posts indicating la hacienda has taken TIW cards, and it is listed on all ears.net. However, the TIW website does not list it. We sent an email to the Disney TIW site, and was told that La Hacienda does NOT participate in TIW.

I would assume that Disney would know, but several people have posted that it was accepted. We have an ADR there in 2 weeks, and really would like to know if it is in fact accepted.

Anyone?

The TiW site is confusing, but La Hacienda does take TiW. We used it there on our trip in June.

Yes they do. We have used it there in Nov 2011 and May 2012 without a problem. We will use it again in October too!

For some reason it is not listed on the TIW website. However, they accept TIW. Have used it there several times.

La Cava del Tequila, the separate bar inside the Mexico pavilion, doesn't take it, but La Hacienda does.

Thank you for your replies! We will keep our ADR, and will be shouting "viva Mexico!" as we enter!

I used it in early August but read of someone that said that they were turned down on 9/2 and that they no longer accept it as of about 2 weeks ago.

Wait....now I am freaking out. We have an ADR there in two weeks and there is nothing else available in Epcot!

I posted on La Hacienda's Facebook page and they inform me that they do NOT accept TIW! They only accept it at San Angel Inn. I am one asking if they give 20% dvc discount, as all ears says they do. But of course, that won't include alcohol.

That would be recent, as I just used it there in July.

Appears to be a very recent change.

They indicate that they do accept dvc discount....all ears has that as 20% but according to dvc perks, it is only 10%.

Too bad. I really liked this resturant and don't get this decision. they will take the DDP that has to pay practically NOTHING, but won't give me a small discount for giving them cash?

Sorry, but with Disney pricing if you aren't playing the discounts but you are willing to take the DDP apparently you want me to make up that shortage from DDP ....

Are you kidding me? We love La Hacienda and have used TIW there a number of times. It would be a huge disappointment if they no longer accepted it. We could do the DVC discount but that doesn't include alcohol Mexican food without margaritas? Seriously?

They do this in Japan - Tokyo Dining accepts, Teppan Edo doesn't. Seems that was done because Tokyo Dining isn't as well attended. But La Hacienda didn't look like the more popular of the two to me...it's a mystery.

It does mean I'll be getting Mexican at San Angel now. Too bad, I liked Hacienda's fish.
