I should do that but I'm sure I'll get static from the rest of the family.
I'll just watch it on my computer later with headphones.

Can't wait until my new TV gets here!! LOL

Absolutely excellent show too! There were tears, laughter, flirting, scary bits - exactly what you'd hope for.

They introduced a great character who for a second I hoped would be the new companion before I realised what was actually going on - ah well.

Do you get to see it soon in the US? I hope they don't cut it down too much for adverts - there wasn't a lot of "empty" show you know what I mean?

( I read on the other thread that in the US they cut out the bit with Rose and the Doctor on the Beach - how could they do that? That's an incredible bit!)
so tell us how many minutes did it run for you over there? here it was about an hour,,minus about 20 min commercials ends with 40 or so minutes.
there was a great torrent site that had most of bbc programming on it, but it was forced to shut down a week ago.

Checked tonight's schedule - appears to be 45 minutes.

(Edited because apparently I can't count!)

looking forward to tomorrow! This is the one I am hoping will be epic - the western, not the dinosaur one. Plus, Ben Browder from Farscape (was a fan - loved the Henson Creature Shop characters)!

gotta share this :

it's "Donna" and the 10th Doctor in a Comic Relief sketch...

"Angels take Manhattan" - last night.

Well we all knew it was coming.

Still - there I was pretending I "had something in my eye". A 45 year old woman - pathetic isn't it?

Well this 44 year old woman was crying with you! Despite the flow of tears at the end, it was a good episode.

Did I miss something last night? I thought last night's ep was "The Angels Take Manhatten" (the fall season finale) . Was there something else afterwards that we missed?

ETA: Dang! I just realized that the start of this thread was September 8. No wonder I was confused!

I had a small lump in my throat but that was about it; no tears. They didn't die, just lived the rest of their life back in time. If they had died, I probably would of had some tears.

The only companion that I bawled my eyes out over was Adric, during Peter Davison's era. I was only 14, but he was one of my favorite companions.
