If you were booked in a Lagoon View room what would you request for the best view but still fairly close the the GCH? View being most important.

Could someone direct me in the direction of where I can find the April outdoor movie schedule? I've only been able to find the month of March. TIA!

As of today (April 1st), does anyone know if the pathway between the Polynesian and Grand Floridian is still open? My friends have have some ADR's at the Grand Floridian and I'm hoping they'll still be able to walk over. Thanks!

A thread on Tiki Central is triggering this question: Has anybody been in the Tangaroa Terrace building lately?

The last time I was at the Polynesian, I was told that there was nothing left in the building other than the kid's club and that all of the classic artwork produced by Oceanic Arts of Whittier, CA, was stripped. I didn't quite believe it when they told me as I know they still rent out the rest of the terrace for special events. To make a long story short, I was told, "No, we can't let you in to look around."

Based on the Tiki Central thread, it sure looks like the carvings are all still in tact. Does anybody have recent photographs of the space?

I have a few questions...

1st- To rent the sea racers it says "licensed driver" does this mean driver's license or boat license?
2nd- The Kona restaurant..is this table service or QS?
3rd- What is a "must do" while staying at the Poly? I already plan on eating at Ohana for breakfast and lunch, so anything else??

Thanks!!

We just rented 3 sea racers for our family of 5. They asked if someone in our party had a driver's license, but didn't need to see it - we only had our room key for charging with us at time if rental.

Make time for watching Wishes from the beach. If you are around at 6pm, watch the torch lighting if it is happening on the days you are there.

Allearsnet website has the menu for all of the restaurants. I find that helps when planning meals for the kids.

Excellent! That's good to know cause we don't have a boating license!

And, yes, will for sure make time to watch the fireworks, thanks!
