Thank you!!

As other posters mentioned, there are continental breakfast offerings, plus oatmeal with toppings. There is fresh fruit, pineapple, strawberries, cantelope--always delicious. We like hot breakfasts as well. On mornings we did not go to a buffet or Kona, we would go to Captain Cook's and buy side of scrambled eggs to go. We put the eggs on the bagels or toast in the lounge. Captain Cook's and Hawaii building are fairly close so it is very convenient. You can get waffles, eggs, sausage, breakfast pototatos as a side or entree at the counter service and bring back to lounge and eat with the fruit, muffins, beverages in lounge. They will put plastic lids on your food and it is easy to transport and not very expensive. HTH!

I have never stayed Poly CL BUT just wanted to point out a great deal at Captain Cooks (and most Disney resort quick service locations). There is a kids breakfast for about $5 that comes with eggs, bacon, grapes and a kid's drink (milk/juice/bottled water/etc). It's a great way to add some protein and hot food to your breakfast if you are supplementing a continental breakfast. And that can be a continental breakfast from the lounge or for other non-CL folks, food that you might still have in your room (like a pastry from France that you got the night before )!

The torch lighting ceremony starts in the Great Ceremonial House at 6:00 pm on the nights that Spirit of Aloha is performed. Not 100% sure, but usually Tuesday-Saturday.

Thanks for the pics link!

Some quick thoughts.....The bedroom looks very bright but I look forward to seeing a wider view. The uploaded bed pic looked very plain so I am hoping to see more island decor in the rest of the room. The bathrooms are beautiful but what's up with the towel bars in front of the sinks? Is this an accessible room?

I wondered too if it was an accessible room. I love Poly but I'm not loving the new decor. It won't stop me from giong back though!

I don't think it's an accessible room because it has a regular tub/shower. I loved the old (dark) decor and I'll still love the Poly no matter what, but I sure wish they would have added a shelf under the sinks.

Those towel bars are just strange if this is the design for ALL the rooms. It would interfere with little ones trying to reach the sink and the constant leaning by both children and adults would quickly loosen those fittings(read towel bars falling off)

The bedding pics look like they have the cover pulled down (it looks like just the sheets and not a coverlet since it's tucked in?) Don't like the neck rolls, kind of tacky IMO. I too would like to see a wider shot, before someone's stuff is in the room, just to get the full affect. Anxious to see the lounge pics from Hawaii too!

Anyone know how late the boats from Poly to MK run? Do they run during Wishes?

From the photos, I'm just not sure I like it better than the old theme but it is always so different in person! I've never thought the rooms were too dark but in photos the decor always looked so deceiving which is where I think this perception came from.
