I have seen some down right rude a$$ & entitled people. These workers are just there to do their job and hope to have a good day. It's truly not their fault that you bag of apples didn't ring up on sale, so simply just say..."excuse me, but I noticed that the apples rang up $4.99 instead of $2.99" No need to tear the cashier a new one and start yelling/screaming at her. And after she fixes it, a simple "thank you" would be nice. Never mind going on and on about how "nothing ever rings up right....don't you know how to do your job....blah, blah, blah" Just shut the hell up and move on with life.
I agree with this. These people are just trying to do their jobs...and being paid very little for it I might add. It seems that some people think they are better than the lower paid employees among us and haven't the time to treat the "serfs" with dignity.

I hate it when my grandmother mentions that my aunts are stressed and need a vacation. They work part time and go away every year, my father and mother work 2 jobs full time and I'm trying to find a job whilst recovering from an eye op, and our family has no vacation prospects till mid 2013 at the earliest, but I'm sure they are more stressed what with their upcoming 2 week vacation in 7 days and their hectic 20 hour work week... If anything it is their husbands who should be stressed!

She also forgets that my father had cancer last year, but mentions all the time that one of my aunts had it years and years ago... How can you remember one but not the other? She also brings a card around for us to give my aunt on her anniversary despite the fact that my aunt hardly bothers to send cards at all (I didn't get one for my 21st, last month)

The absolute worst thing is that I can't call her out on it as my mother doesn't want the fuss... Sometimes it just builds up and boils my blood. I wouldn't be that bothered but she is alwaaaays mentioning these things...

/massive vent

Know what makes me angry? When I'm trying to speak to someone, and they say, "Oh, just shoot me an email" and walk away. Umm, I'm standing here WITH YOU - why can't we just TALK? People who just refuse to communicate face to face - that makes my blood boil.

This morning we were in Waffle House and there was a group of 4 teenagers - all with their Smart phones out - texting each other. What has happened to talking to one another? We live in such an increasingly impersonal world.

I haven't seen this issue yet, but anybody whose blood is boiled by people commenting on things that don't seem to concern them would be aggravated at me - because I'd say that. "She just rang up 97 items for you at the right price. One was wrong and that's been adjusted. Now thank the woman and pay for for stuff. You should be picking your own apples at the city orchard anyway."

Yes, it's my business. She's holding up the line, and I couldn't say things like that when I worked in stores. Now I can .

I hate when people drive around with dogs loose in the bed of their pickup. I want to vomit from fear the whole time I'm behind them. My nerves are fried by the time we go in different directions. Poor dogs.

--Smugness. I just want to smack their faces. Really.

--Hypocrisy. Just this morning I caught someone I really admired in a blatant display of hypocrisy. I felt alternately angered and sickened... I guess because I feel taken in by him. Now, I am just disgusted because upon further conversation, I realized that he doesn't even have a CLUE about his hypocrisy and when I (and several other people) tried to call him on it, he just blew us off with a list of reasons about his behavior is different than the people he's called out for it over and over. So he went from hero to zero very fast.

--When I see kids who aren't being parented properly on a basic level. You need a license to fish and to drive a bike, but not to parent! Argh!

Usually, parenting styles don't concern me as I firmly believe that just because someone's style may be different than mine does not make it wrong. As long as you are not abusing your child.

However, Helicopter parenting is one that doesn't quite make my blood boil, but it is close.

This is the generation that is going to be running our world.

I imagine being an old lady living in a world where the powers to be are afraid of their own shadows and afraid to take risks because they weren't allowed to go to the bathroom or play in their front yards until they were teens.
