Our region is expected to have a snowier than usual winter. I would not be upset if we had a massive snowfall the Sunday after we leave for Florida, that closes the schools for 3 days or so! As long as they clean it up in time for us to come home!

Yes, that's true -- I'm not going to worry about it! Now I also need to download the level app...i think many things are crooked in my house.

Levenhopper - My new favourite game for iphone/ipad is SONGPOP -- omg, so addictive.

Tltorrez -- Thanks for the weather links. If I'm interpreting correctly they are forecasting a few degrees lower than normal, and precipitation a few inches higher than normal. Like Valgoof, I hope that 'few degrees' means mid-60's not mid 30's Whatever it ends up, it will likely be warmer than it would have been in Canada at that time, and we'll be in the happiest place on earth.

Oh it would be perfect for me if there was a huge storm on Jan 7th and we had to either stay 1 more day at WDW or delay returning to school/work by one more day.

We make tamales EVERY Christmas. It's just what we do... I can remember learning how to spread masa on the corn husks when I was 3. Funny is I won't have tamales anywhere else- only my momma's and only around Christmas. Just doesn't seem right... LOL

My girls get a kick out of that - they always call me out on my "mexican" time of year.

In Jan 2011 we left during a lull between two blizzards. We had no power at our house but as long as the plane took off, we didn't care.

Hoping this is true but will start after we get back from our vacation at least the snow for our area! I love snow and last year we got like 2 days(months apart) of a little bit of snow.

I feel like it's never going to be 5 o'clock. Is anyone else's Friday afternoon dragging?

the weekend has begun here it is 5:15. But sometimes weekends are so busy I prefer the week. Probably because I am a stay at home mom and enjoy my quiet and relaxing days.

I ended up preordering one through AT&T when I got to work. I have a 3gs (which used to belong to one of my partners) and it is just the worst lately. I mean, about 1/4 of the time when I open the camera (not a fancy app or anything), the thing just shuts off. Awesome, eh?
Annoying! So far my 3gs has been ok. My daughter had a rare case of expanding battery though .. woke up one morning the back had busted off, screen cracked and the battery was FOUR INCHES THICK Of course they replaced it free of charge.

Did anyone else sign up to watch the Samantha Brown webcast on AKV? It was a DVC promotion and we have no intention of buying DVC but it was fun to watch. We hooked the laptop to the tv so the whole family could watch.

Yes, I know I'm a dork.
