Horrible August...
This month has been soooo horrible I just want to cry...
August 14- my grandmother passed away. nothing went right with the service planning. The services were 20th. then yesterday my cat escaped from our house. he's an indoor cat who is declawed and never been outside before. I feel sooo scared for him. We put out flyers, his food/water/litterbox and tonight we set a humane trap for him. Hopefully he'll come home. he is 16 years old. . i feel soo scared for him. It sucks.

OH, I'm so sorry for your loss
![]() I went through this with my indoor cat. Walked, canvassed the neighborhood, and someone did call with the signs I had posted. I hope for the same for you.. Have you tried pet shelters you may have around?

Yes. We went to the county animal shelter...however they did not have our cat, practically because it was only 24 hrs after he got out, and also they said that they don't take cats/dogs from my town and told me a town in a different county took the cats and dogs from our town, so I called them, and they said they are not associated with my town.
So I totally got the turn around. I might check the shelter again on Monday just in case. I even put 2 ad's on craiglist Lost Cat I got one email back but really she wanted to help search the town for my cat. i just wish he'd come home. I was just out there with my dog whose buddy buddy with the cat so I thought that would help... no luck.

My sympathies on the loss of your grandmother. And also, I hope your kittie comes home soon. Our fur babies are like our children and I know how distraught you must be.
I will keep you, your family and your kittie in my prayers. Hugs to you..

For those who said prayers for my cat to return, I guess they worked... He's HOME!!
My dad went into the garage to put the insurance card in the car, and our cat jumped onto his lap!
