Best character dining photo package?

Hello, I have ordered Photopass Plus for my up coming trip to WDW and trying to decide which character meal to go to. I have noticed some location that offer photo package do not feature character at the photo op before meal. Does anyone know which one does? It will be only me and my DS going and I would like to go to character dining location that has character take picture with you before seating. Thank you for helping me out.

The Command considers us a bunch of losers. But we’re gonna do it right this time, ’cause we’re the best. If we don’t... We’ll be drummed out of the corps.

I know Tusker does with Donald and 'Ohana does not. Beyond that... I'm not sure.

I'll add that Akerhus has a picture with Belle and CRT has one with Cinderella, but those photo packages are included with the ADR. Chef Mickeys and 1900 PF offer photo packages that do not have any characters.

TH, IMO, is one of the best character meals out of there, but word has gotten out and it seems to be a really hot ticket (we were trying to change times for our breakfast ADR in October but it seems to be booked solid).

From my understanding, Tusker House is the only meal that has a picture with a character that doesn't already include the package (which can be added to a regular photopass account) with the meal.
So that's the one you'll want to do.

For this reason, I don't see how the Plus option is that great of the deal, unless that photo with Donald is important to you and/or you really like attraction photos.

Ohana does do a photo but its not with a character-- its a fancy background and you are given a lei.

Park Fare is another-- pictue with a background--no charater.

Chef Mickeys-- no character just a fancy plate

Yeah, Tusker is, hands down, our favorite character meal. I went the first time because that was the only place that wasn't booked solid 3 weeks out in Sept of 2011 and the idea of doing a week at Disney with no characters bummed me out... I didn't particularly want to go, but I wanted a character meal. It's now the only character meal we will do.

Funny thing is when we went in January with my parents, I had to really convince them it was a great place... That was the reservation they kept trying to dump in favor of something else. They didn't want to eat there in the worst way. We got there, though, and my family took one look at the buffet, and my Dad was one happy camper. I think my mother and I went up twice, my brother went up 3 times, my father 5 times. He didn't want to eat for the rest of the day and ended up jogging 4 miles instead of his usual 2 the next morning to make up for it.

You are right Danceintherain, it doesn't sounds like much of a perk anymore.

It really depends on your expectations. It only costs $30 more than the regular photopass cd. For our $30, we got 1 meal photo (Ohana, which I think is cute) - $30 value. 3 pirates league photos - $90 value. 11 ride photos - $165 value. So, I got $285 in pics for $30. I would have purchased most of them anyway. So, personally, I love photopass+.

You are right also, Elizabeth. I used it once last month for ride photos and pirate league. I don't usually go to character dining because they are more expensive and food from what I read is only so-so. I am planning my next trip and since we already got the ride and pirate photos, I am just trying to weight in if I should order it again and try character dining locations. Should I go for character dining just because I get the PLUS card, or should I skip using that perk and eat at other places that are full service sit down restaurant ?

I booked Tusker House just so I could get a character picture with my teen boys. They SO don't want to take character pictures any more but they do like to be fed.

We have a breakfast at Tusker House booked and I'm ordering Photopass+ tonight. Can we get two pictures or just one? I would love one with just the kids and one with all four of us.
