Interesting… I wonder what they’d replace it with?

I’ve seen the show many times and always enjoyed it. But that doesn’t mean that Disney couldn’t replace it with something as good or better. We’ll have to see if that rumor pans out and what the change might be. There actually needs to be a bit more going on in the Camp Mini-Mickey area.

I am far from a child specialist (about as far as you can get), but I would recommend getting down on here level, and very nicely asking her why she is acting the way she is. Try to find out the cause and see if you can come to a compromise.

If she is being that bad, send the other adults out to enjoy themselves.

I think Matt had a good idea.. sit her down and try to find out what's up. It could be overstimulation with lack of sleep and some excitement thrown in.

Feeling a little tired today at work after being up until about 1:30 2 nights in a row to watch the Reds. Well worth it though. I can't wait until tomorrow afternoon when I'll be heading into Great American Ballpark for Game 3!

Mine are that way too. It is Disney overload. Just do your thing and she'll follow along eventually.

That does stink. We don't do AK every trip, but it was in our too 3 attractions there. Kilimanjaro Safari, EE, FOTLK, Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur, Triceratop Spin, Bug's Life, Primeevil Whirl, and Character Meets. I hope it just moves to new location.

Afternoon Guys! Rainy and cold to fit the mood around here. Pretty good chance I will lose my 3/4-time employee next year so there will be even less bodies to get the work done. Hoping we don't reach minimal critical mass for another decade though. Once Jr. SWMBO is out of High School, I don't really care what happens then; McD's is always hiring burger flippers.

The research year is winding down other than a broccoli trial and some data on roundup ready sweet corn to collect and analyze so I hope I can check in more regularly once again.

I've lived in Charlotte, NC for the past 6 years now but I grew up in South FL so we went to Disney a LOT when I was growing up. I always loved it, but my fanaticism didn't start until a couple years ago when we took our children for the first time. (I got three of 'em - DD7, DS4, DS1) Thanks to the internet, I found the DIS prior to our trip in 2010 and have been addicted since then. Just about a month ago, we closed on our first DVC purchase (OKW is our home) and we're really excited!
At this point, our next trip isn't planned until Nov 2013 because I'd really like to wait until our youngest is around 2.5 before we hit the road again (plus our new DVC points don't kick in until Aug 2013). We may try to borrow some points and hit up HHI in April if we can snag a room. Regardless, it's going to be a long 13 months of trolling the Internet for my Disney fix, but there is no shortage of great sites out there.

I'm a complete fanatic and it's so nice to be able to come to a place like this and share our crazy addition with others who "get it."

What a Beverly of a day already. Sitting at the auto repair shop waiting for them to open so I can drop the rolling van of doom off. 1 coolant leaks, butch in places that I can even come close to reaching. Them I head home to meet the furnace guy because that's not working on this 39 degree morning.

Yuck I hope you were able to get everything repaired and it cost less than a short Disney trip.

If you already have an xbox I would probably go with the Kinect. I like the idea of the Wii U but I've read the controller cost is pretty high and we'd probably need to have 2 to keep the kids from fighting over the controller with the LCD. Also I really like Kinect disneyland adventures.

My parents came into town this weekend to spend some time with us on their way down to FL. They gave me the best early birthday present ever, the spent the day cleaning the garage with me so I could finally get my car into it.

Hi all! Been another busy week here in VA. Had a weekend of camping with family and friends at Cherrystone campground on the Eastern Shore. The cold front came through late Sat night with lots of wind. Woke up to cold wind and rain. Fortunately, we rented a cabin for the weekend and was minimally affected



In other news... I finally broke down and got a smart phone from Verizon. My dumb phone finally peanut buttered me enough to make the move. Had the choice between the iPhone 4s and Droid 4... I ended up getting the Droid. Basically came down to the fact that the Droid has a slide full qwerty keyboard. Very nice additional feature for heavy texting work. I am sad, though, that I do not get to try Facetime with Dave Now I am trying to get used to the phone enough so I can keep up with the DDC goings on. Might have to buy ForumRunner.

Glad things are going better. This is one of my big concerns with our up coming trip.
