Evening guys. Busy weekend, had to make a speed run to WV so my could attend a funeral service for her BFF's uncle. Prior to leaving, I tried a make shift dole whip recipe and it was awesome! Still not as great as the original, but a great substitute! Got it from the recipe section at d-cot.

Brian, in addition to iPhone cases, DTD had case for HTC Evo, HTC something else, and Samsung, but not one for Galaxy or Focus. It was some model I never heard of.

David, DW said your recommendation of dark chocolate pineapple was killed, awesome, wonderful. The line to Giradhelli was out the door, so while we waited in line for ice cream, DW brought the pineapple and we sampled it in line. Yum!

I agree it is one of the best shows, but the last time we were, they changed the formula opfor the smoke and it smelled awful. If they are closing to clean or change the smoke, that would be a welcome change.

It's quite sad but the rumor is that it may be discontinued after the NewYear, doesn't have a date or what will replace it, so only time will tell

Hope everyone's Holiday Weekend started out safe and good. Good shift tonight, everyone kept things running smooth, but I was kinda limited, the stress the past couple of days + a nasty little bug going around made things move slow for me, stomach doing all sorts of bad things. Won a prize in our United Way drive contest, we hit our quota for the year with a week to go. A witch's hat filled with candy! Girls already got into it.

Tomorrow starts the prep work, may not be as hard as it seems, but wil be good in the long run. Plan on purging a LOT of stuff. My parents have arranged for us Thanksgiving dinner with just them Monday too, no siblings. Really nice of them.

Today as well, some at work have put a bug in my ear over a minor manager's position out in Sarnia where in-laws live. Have just over a week to think about putting in for it. Would be a huge step though, DW would need a new job, and mass relocation. Cost of living would be a lot lower though. Little nervous about it, going to talk it over with parents, DW, her parents etc. Qualify for it, just a seniority issue, but with 15 years, 11+ full time, might have a chance. Gotta think this one out alot.

Well the good news is if you take the job it should be pretty easy to set up a DISDad meet next time I'm up there!
