Question Universal or Disney, Which on Hotels

I put this topic in Other Hotels and Attraction because it doesn't matter which Resort/Theme Park. OK I can feel my skin burning

With that said....( I can't belive I'm going to ask this)

I'm basically look at the Standard Room at:
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (Deluxe) vs Universals Royal Pacific Hotel .

Would you consider both to be the same level(room size, amenities).

Is one better than the other for those of you who have stay at either property.

Please let me know. TIA

well, I've never been to AKL but have stayed at both WL (same room size) and CL at Royal Pacific. I would say that room sizes are comparable, the RP resort is nice but you do not get a free in room fridge but you do get one hour early entry to IOA for the Harry Potter ride and unlimited front of the line express pass. I think that AKL might have the edge on theming and views/decor though. There are no balconies at Royal Pacific, whereas there are at AKL. Others may chime in with other differences and similarities....
