I plan on having my very first Lapu Lapu at the Poly when we go to Ohana. So far so good on your trip, I would love a solitary visit to Mickey!

It's on the list, trying to do a top 10 but I'm at 17 at the moment and am quite convinced I'm missing things. Need to rank them

I will always do EWP but when is always up in the air. It did seem a great way to start the vacation but I guess for me, it would depend on the EMH schedule.

Add an evening on the beach to the list. I have a feeling this list is going to be massive.

Either bartender John or Clinta.

One of them is always inside at the bar.

Off Site was the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista. AP rates came out and I was able to tag the first night (SAT 13th ) and Last night( FRI 19th) at POP.

I can get some wandering around AoA time.

The Lapu Lapu is good but I usually get a Captain's MaiTai. Cheaper and does the trick.

After a wonderful day and evening at Disney, I woke up bright and early in the Hampton Inn ready to get up shower and eat.

The Hampton has a free sorta hot breakfast. They had Mickey waffles and toast that was hot. Cold stuff included cereal, pasteries and juice.

I am sure they had the premade egg sandwiches that I will not try.

They do have coffee.

Not half bad but better than the Nescafe stuff in the beverage area at Disney.

But … No picture of breakfast – What is this report coming to?

Horrible

I pack up everything again- really just the toiletry bag and everything else was easy.
Showered and fed I am on the road again.

I book it over to beach Club. Time check around 9 am.

As soon as the car pulls up at the Beach Club – a couple of CMs descend on the car.

Them: Checking in???
Me: Oh Yes!!!

They will wait for me to check in to see if the luggage goes up or into LS.

The one with the clipboard pretty much has my name even before I say it.

He escorts me in – I HAD to stop in between the double door and take a big whiff.

I was so excited I did not take a picture then, I went back the next day to snap this.

I am sniffing.

AAAAHHHHH I am home and giddy as a schoolgirl.

Clipboard CM hands me off to the online check in CM. I did have a request, upper floor, balcony, EPCOT view. In that order.

She goes over the request but tells me the room is not ready yet.

No worries. She has the number to text.

See I needed that new phone.

I float back out to the car and tell the CMs to send it all to LS for now.

I am officially in LOVE…

I love the fact I bought into DVC
I love that one of my home resorts is BCV
I love feeling giddy when I check in.

Now to kill some time- Where to????

You are HOME with a full day ahead of you and walking distance to 2 parks! Very worthy of giddiness!!!!!

I felt that way at my first check in at OKW.

Slightly surreal.

It was, but yet on the New Years trip checking into SSR was different. SSR is my "other" home and probably because I was totally new to that resort so I was a little lost on everything so no real giddy.

BCV had me from the curb. Walking me in, stopping with me to sniff in the vestibule, white glove service all the way.

You are so right, the AK parking lot is ginormous! And you are so right, always take a picture of where you park. My Dad and I lost our car once there and had to walk around for about 20 minutes. Never doing that again.

Good choice heading to the Poly for some adult beverages and watching the EWP.

No pictures of the sub par Hampton's breakfast? For shame.

Isn' t DVC the best? Seriously, even though BCV is not one of my home resorts, I got that exact same feeling when I stayed there. It's just such a wonderful place with great customer service. I can't believe you are sniffing the air.

You will appreciate this - a few weeks ago we took Nick to visit U of Maryland. I went to the ladies room in the visitors center and the most familiar smell hit my nostrils. The bathroom smelled just like the ones at MK, especially the one near space mountain. Crazy, but true. didn't even realize there was a characteristic smell until that moment.

I know what you mean, OKW had me before I got there. I think a lot of it had to so with the fact it was the home resort i wanted, and was only swayed by those darn treehouses lol. Vero and AKV, not giddy quite at check in at least.
