Castaway Cay Family Beach Cabana 7- with pics

We got off the Dream yesterday, August 15th. Our cruise was a 5 night with 2 stops at Castaway Cay. We had a cabana on family beach for the first stop, which was Saturday August 11th. Like lots of people, we went back and forth as to whether the cost was "worth it". For us, it certainly was! We have now spent 5 days on Castaway, and our day with the cabana was by far the best. Having a private beach that only cabana guests can access was wonderful. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved having the sand toys and floats/mats easily accessible. And to have our own private oasis to retreat to was pure heaven.
Here are some pictures:

Thank you so much for the pictures and the review. I'm so excited for our cabana in November. This just makes us even more excited.

We had Cabana number 17 on our Fantasy Cruise. It was the best thing we ever did. We shared it with a family that was traveling with us.

Number 17 was the last Cabana it was like we were on a private oasis. PJ our host was top notch. Our neighbors next door had small children in a pack and play and the fan kept them nice and cool.

They have definitely changed the seating from when we had cabana 7 last October.

We had wooden-backed chairs and no chaise in the corner!

it's great they've added the corner chaise - that way all three of us will be able to sit out on the deck and laize the day away!!
i hope they have it at SB as well!

Question for those who have "cabanaed" before.

How much do you tip your cabana host that day? I'm wondering because we are also in concierge on the ship and will tip there, as well,

Since they are the same hosts (concierge and cabana) we just took our cabana days into account when deciding on our tip at the end of the cruise. So we just tipped once.

We tipped $20 when we were on the family beach with the kids. On Serenity Bay with just the two of us, we tipped $10.

We weren't concierge either time.
