Current platinum benefits

It has been a while since my last DCL trip.. What are the current perks for platinum members. Last time I went we got a gift, and a bottle of champagne, tour and free Palo. Is it still similar? I am hoping for the Palo.....

Yes, Palo is still one of the perks. I couldn't find anything about champagne, however. And I think most of the tours have been eliminated.

One option is a bottle of wine. No tours in June on the magic. We were disappointed

Champagne is one of the three available stateroom gifts.. I believe they are champagne, chocolates or fruit tray.

The only tours they had available on the Dream last month were the stingray experience at CC and a galley tour.

As PP mentioned, a free Palo experience is still included (either brunch or dinner).

In addition they offer a flat 10% on qualifying store purchases. They also offer a free photo from Shutters if you buy a photo package of some kind (we never take advantage of this). There are a couple others, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

They put a letter in our room the second day with a complete list.

No "Platinum Experience" tours on the Fantasy in the spring. Choice of one of 3 food gifts (one is a sparkling wine), comp Palo brunch or dinner, 10% off on gift shop purchases (exclusions apply), free photo with large enough photo package purchase, free bingo card with purchase, discount on multi-day rainforest pass.

While not a necessary thing the decrease and changes in the perks is kind of sad. Especially the obc.

Either. 120 days out online, or onboard early.

This has actually not been happening for quite a while. Concierge boards as group 1 (thru a side door if in PC). Platinum boards as #2.

This is correct. #2 Platinum through the Ears, if you can get through the crowds.

It's not that bad as long as you aren't there between noon and 1pm.
Good luck.

I can't believe they don't have a dedicated line or something for there most loyal customers, like the airlines.

If they are reducing perks for platinum's, this would seem like a simple perk that could be implemented. Dedicated lane for boarding.

My last two cruises - we only had the option of dinner at Palo's - not Brunch. Also I don't think it includes all adults in your stateroom like it used to. I am going to be sailing with some friends who are not yet Platinum, we called about this benefit and they advised only the Platinum member will get a comp dinner -not all the adults in the room. However, I know sometimes things are different on the ship when what the tell you when you call.

Lovely. The CC web page still says "guests 18 and over in the same stateroom."

OK, I can understand some things like the Palo dinner that cost them money being restricted to Platinum only. I can understand SEPARATE lines for Concierge and Platinum. (we were told there were too many concierge guests now). But I can't understand not having a platinum check in line--this costs only the price of the sign. And I can't understand the CM at the concierge line refusing to check in a platinum guest when there were NO concierge guests present at all! In fact, the nasty CM at the concierge station told us we needed to get in the regular line; the CM who took care of us from the regular line told us we should have been at the concierge station and he had to walk down there to get the platinum lanyards. OH--I watched--NO concierge guests showed up during the relatively short time we spent in the regular line and checking in there. Charlie (who checked us in) was a dear.
