I havent been around after surgery much. Pain is up and down and I spend a lot of time in therapy or as I like to call it Medieval Torture Treatment! I will post a little here and there as drugs allow me!

I was just thinking about you last night... mind was racing with trying to keep my emotions in check for taking DD off to college this week..

Glad to hear from you...sorry the pain is up and down....and you are dealing with the torture therapy... but you'll be on the mend soon!! Take care of yourself..and keep us updated...

Be careful what you post while high on the pain meds!!!!!!!

well too many bp meds plus too much coumadin and SPLAT---- Squid passes out, falls over, knocking down two computers, a cup of coffee and a kitchen chair. SO a full ambulance response,ER visit, xrays lab work AND a night in the hospital!
That was Saturday, home again Dr.s are fighting over meds but orthopedic is winning! Now less coumadin and minus some bp meds I am MUCH better!

That's a hell of a lot to go through just to adjust your meds!!!!!

All the planets are getting aligned. At least I hope so! Most of the time the knee doesnt hurt much more than before the surgery. Still swollen and a bit stiff though. Primary Md and Ortho still lobbying for different levels of blood thinner. But Coleen the ICU nurse (my lovely wife) is sticking with the Ortho mds thoughts.

Seriously, glad you are better and I hope you are up and moving unassisted soon so you don't need to be on all that stuff.

But I bet your scrap pages look really interesting!!!

ouch, what a tough recovery Squid! no more headers into the computers okay! make sure you listen to your lovely nurse and follow ALL orders!

Staples out and walking with a cane. Going to try a short outing tomorrow and another Sunday. One more week of in home therapy and then 4 weeks of outpt! Havent been able to work on pages because the leg swells if I dont elevate & ice it regularly.
