Opening of Test Track at Epcot?

Any reputable rumors about when the opening for the new Test Track at Epcot will be?

Reputable? As in: not from a WDW bus driver?? Nope. Only official thing I've seen is the original Nov.30.

Even the Nov. 30 date has never been "officially" stated.
Just a casual "look for it to open approximately..." kind of thing.

Plus, a couple of very recent first-hand reports saying
that things were not progressing as planned
and the Nov. 30 date may be too optimistic.

(Imagine that, a Test Track opening delayed! )

Remember that TT missed it ORIGINAL official premiere date by a whopping 19 months.
(Over a year and a half late!)

I've seen several people post the same as above.

I realize that "things happen" and it's entirely feasible for a refurbished attraction to open late but is anyone REALLY expecting this?

Surely the problems that delayed the original opening are easily remedied or virtually non-existent at this point.

It's just been the entire history of TT to be one of THE most problematic
attractions for "down-time."

Maybe it's just bad juju, but TT's reputation and track record ("Test Track Record?") is one that does not bode well for reliability of meeting expectations.

And, again, the projected opening date (actually Dec. 1... the Nov. 30 date is the last day that TT is supposed to be closed) is not an official date.

Test track will be open no later than the first of the year.

Maybe they will actually fix it now, who knows, just like who knows when it actually opens. It may be delayed, it may be on time. I personally suggest anyone not to book vacation specifically for TT dates as you never know and it is true for any project regardless of problems in past.
