All Day Dining Plan

Has anyone here used this and cares to share their experience? I'm going next year with my DD, DSIL, DGS and DNph (kids are ages 3 and 5).Wondering if this would be worth it for us?? We do plan to stay the whole day until the last Shamu show. TIA

we got free all day dining when we visited last year
eat all day as much as you can/want (at selected restaurants).

you exchange your voucher at the first restaurant and get a wrist band to that day

buffets are easy-show your wrist band for entry

non-buffet-you would go thru the line for lunchroom styke for one appetizer, one entree, one dessert and one drink per visit, pay by showing wrist band. if you want more than one item you have to go thru the system again, even if there is no lines (painful if busy), but you can go through as many times as you want

good way to get bottle water

My 3 kids love the all eat dining plan at Sea World. I have tall for her 5 about to turn 6 years old that eats much as twins do at 9. At the time I took them they was 3 and 7 years olds and they ate like pigs my kids did.

At the end of the night we all went back at fruit and drinks took back to the hotel room for snack for the road the next day.

We going Sea World for Christmas we do the same exact thing.

I do this occasionally when I go - I love the All Day Dining Deal - especially if I am going to have breakfast as well. I ate all three meals plus a couple of snacks and bottled water and saved about $30 (%50) with the plan. If I don't do the dining deal I usually just have one meal there and bring snacks. I love the fruit - especially strawberries with chocolate sauce - the burgers are good and Voyagers smokehouse one of my favs and really good value with the Dining Deal!

I am super excited because AP holders for the month of August get the Adult All Day Dine for the price of a child $17.99 - so it is great to check for special prices if you get an AP/ plus you get a discount anyway.

I am also considering the all day dining deal for a day at SeaWorld in February. Hubby is a moderate eater, meaning he will eat the three basic meals in a day and finish everything on his plate. He's not a big dessert person. He might have 1 snack. I'm a light eater. I always wish I could get a kid's entree b/c I hate to be wasteful - I rarely finish an entire entree (except at breakfast). I might have a snack, but not that likely. My daughter is 5. On a good day she'll finish a kids' meal; on a bad day, not so much. I know you're not supposed to share and I don't mind buying 2 adult bands, but can I get away with not buying one for my daughter? I wouldn't be going back in line to get a separate meal for her - I'm just thinking the 3 of us would split 2 adult entrees. I think that's perfectly reasonable and fair because I wouldn't be abusing it, but is it possible?

And if you don't want a dessert when you have your meal, but you want one later, can you go and just get a dessert or drink, or do the bands only apply to full meals?

Anyone know if all day dining discounts are ever offered (without having to stay at their hotels)?

If you're okay with just eating things like hot dogs and burgers for the day, is it possible to spend less than $66 on 2 meals for 2 adults and a child? Is there such thing as "cart food" or are there only restaurants?

Thanks!

We did this 2 years ago and you can go through the lines as often as you want and get as many or as few of the items as you'd like. We drank a ton of bottled water while we were there so we got a savings just in that. We went through the line several times for just a piece of fruit and a drink.

We did this for 2 days and LOVED it! The first day we didn't know we could get breakfast there so we stopped for breakfast before we went to the park but the 2nd day we wised up and ate at the park (saved us some money and gave us a better bang for our buck).

Remember you can get as many full meals as you want and you can also go through the line any time during the day and get any portion of the meal. We did drinks and snacks several times during the day and got a huge savings just in bottled water!

Which places offer the breakfast options? Are there also breakfast options at banana beach cookout? Leaving in 5 days and have not decided on getting the meal deals yet....

Can the kids get just a drink and snack too instead of meal or no because they have to order from kids menu?

There is a great discount right now for August for AP holders - adult dining deal for the price of a child. The AP is $119 so depending on the number of days you spent at Seaworld it would be worth it - but that is for August only as far as I know. Also if you are an AP holder you get a 10% discount on food - basically pays for the tax. I have a two park AP but I think it is the same if you just have one. I think you can do something with the Vacation Experience kiosk and get it free but you may have to listen to a sales pitch/timeshare/sign up for something - but when you walk by the Vacation Experience kiosk it says want the "All Day Dine" free - ask how here.

The burgers were $9 - so with drinks I think you'd spend $13 - with a side closer to $15. The cart food are mostly snacks like caramel popcorn and cotton candy though in the Key West I did notice a place - not really a cart but more like a small counter service/outdoor/kiosk - they had chicken nuggets and chilli fries - I still think about $8. The kids meals were $6.99.

I did see a family sharing food once but I don't think it is encouraged/within the "rules" by Seaworld to do so - but you could ask of course.

At Seaworld Voyagers offers breakfast and at Aquatica - hmm - not sure if I remember - sorry I haven't spent as much time there but I think it is on their web site. I think it is the all day buffet place Banana Beach but you'd better check that.

You could always ask about this - they might let you - they seem to be very accommodating - at any rate you could go through as many times as you want to get the snacks - if you are all paying for the bands. They have let me go through quickly when there was a huge queue because I just wanted cookies and milk.[/COLOR]
