I never read trip reports but the "gallon of pixie dust" really sucked me in! I can't wait to see what else a gallon gets you!!! A BLT two bedroom upgrade, free fastpasses, a parade maybe???

OMG girl! First off, I leave for vacation and come to 18 trillion updates. Each on e more exciting than the last.
What an amazing, awesome, fantastic, more than words can say experience. I love that your family was doused in Pixie Dust!!!!
My favorite resort is the contemporary, for all the reasons you listed. The monorail, the proximity to the best park ever. And the monorail!
Seriously, I want to just gush about how exciting this must have been and how happy reading about it makes me. Like, I need to be there. NOW!!!

Hokay, you should just know that I am VERY jealous of that view of Splash! My absolute favorite in MK; I would probably just sit there and try to watch people's logs go down the big drop.

Matt definitely got excited when he saw the photo opp you guys did; it brought back memories for him from when he was little!

Those cupcakes sound AMAHZING. For real though. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on them, because I may just need to make a little stop at the Contempo next trip for a cupcake! Wondering if they top the ones at Starring Rolls...

Hahaha, Rachel definitely sent me a photo during her trip of the 5-legged goat! Matt loves it.. but if it makes you feel any better, I'm not sure where it is on the mural either!

Those croutons are... interesting. I've never seen them live that, but regular croutons are way better!

Oh shoot! The guest assistance pass you could have gotten for all of you because of Jacob having Down Syndrome. It's basically a fast pass for all of you. I think they limit it to 6 or 7 guests but you just show it and you go right through the fast pass line! That is why we always joke and say my son Noah is our fast pass! Next time!

Wow, I fell behind (darn my new work schedule!) but I am all caught up now. And can I say the wait was totally worth it. Now I totally understand all your excitement on Twitter while you were away, that was some SERIOUS pixie dust.

Getting bumped up to a two-bedroom is awesome. The villa you were in was one of those perfect, outer-rim lake view villas that end up having a direct view of the Magic Kingdom. I'm hoping I can get one of those views when I stay at BLT next May.

You gave an amazing tour of the resort and the villa! It feels like I was there. I don't understand how people gripe about CR or BLT being "not Disney enough." I love all the Disney touches in the artwork, bedspreads, carpeting, etc. It just the most gorgeous and upscale version of Disney one could ever imagine.

And if your first day was good enough already, those awesome FPs were the icing on the cake!

I keep meaning to ask you, do you guys fly out of Richmond?

It's like the clouds opened and angels smiled and sang... and the Walt himself decided you guys were going to have the best trip ever in Disney history. Too bad it's not a year of a 1,000 dreams cuz your family would have totally been invited to stay the night in the castle at the rate y'all are goin!

HAHAHA I promise, you'll get many, many details! Who knows, it could just be a personal preference, but I will say that yeah... as much as I loved the one I had from Starring Rolls, I was head over heels for the one from Contempo.

It really is! Oh my goodness... I HIGHLY recommend making a trip over there to get one. They're WONDERFUL. I wasn't even expecting them to be, for whatever reason. Yeah! I actually had it on the second day, so hopefully it won't be TOO long until I get there!

I totally agree! The sad thing for the girl who gave them to us is that she probably got them after getting stuck on a ride or something. So it was extra sweet of her to just GIVE them to us!

Oh my gosh, YES. That gets on my nerves! Disney would not have a non-Disney hotel, it just wouldn't make sense! I wish those people would actually take the time to LOOK. I mean, how much more Disney can you get than having a MONORAIL... INSIDE? I don't get it... sigh. Oh well. They can just stay somewhere else and I can live there, it's fine.

So I am finally all caught up because I went back and read the beginning of your TR. What an awesome upgrade. Seriously, you really did get deluged with the pixie dust. A - MAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2BR villa is gorgeous. I've only stayed studio, so it is simply outstanding.

Oh, and I almost forgot - I have a thing for black cats since I also have one named Max. I hope Sammy didn't miss you too much!
