DH saw your post earlier and said that I would have to ask anyone with 2 small girls if they were a Disboarder! We'll see you there too!
DH and I are both early 40s....he has light brown hair/goatee, I have med. brown hair (this may change depending on pre-vacation trip to hairdresser )DD is an average to skinny 9 year old with light brown hair and DS4 is as blonde as he can be.....he'll be the blur going down the jib slide over and over! School starts back this week for DD9 and next week for DS4, so I think I'll try to start some packing this weekend! or at least get things rounded up that we won't be using....extra sunscreen, etc.

Mine will be thrilled to find a kid her age to hang with at the pool. She's an only child and an extreme extrovert so we love meeting kids her age when we travel!

DW got some bad news today. Her school changed mid-term week from the past two years to the same week we have our YC trip planned.

So tonight after the kids go to bed (they still don't know we are going), I'll have to call WDW reservations to see if our discount would even be available to switch to the week earlier.

Since we leave on a Tuesday, she would be able to take at least one the day before but I don't want her to have to study while we are at Disney.

Headed home to finish up packing! One more day of work to get through and we're on the first flight out of EWR on Wednesday!

Thanks for the info! Would you possibly be able to ask if the grilled cheese sandwich will be available anywhere? I know it sounds silly, but I will have to prepare for this potential issue with my very picky eater! Thank you

Ugh, not what I wanted to hear Trying to sell DH on repeat visits to BC&YC. Oh well, I am sure it will all be ok. Thanks for the update!

NinjaMom - how are you doing? I am sorry to hear about your mom. I hope you were able to get some results today and her care has gotten significantly better. Thinking of you

Scott -congrats on the upgrade! That is some major pixie dust, enjoy every second of it!

DH and I briefly toyed with the idea of booking labor day weekend, the YC is available at the passholder rate. But then we looked at the extended forecast and that weekend looks brutal so we think we are going to pass unless that changes. Not that I think mid Sept is going to be any better, but at least it shouldn't be as busy. I am just itching to get to the YC for the first time ever

You will know I've arrived at the BC when you see a Pooh sized woman running through the lobby and jumping straight into SAB fully clothed. I simply CAN NOT WAIT to be swimming in that pool!

Hi everyone!

I'm finally able to get to my beloved board after a long and stressful day. What a great way to decompress. I got a lot done at the hospital but I gotta tell you this is one tired tiger! (meow, Zzzzzzzzz) Thanks for all the love and prayers. We are definitely going to need them and I am determined to make the best of this situation for my Mom.

I just wanted to say how neat it was that some of you who are going to be at the resort are making plans to try and get together. It is so awesome that you are going to try and make that happen. Party your buns off when y'all are on vacation and I hope you all have a GREAT Trip!
