To TCUfrog..... WLV is completely separate from the main lodge.... It's so quiet there.... I think most guests feel it's like a library and talk in hushed tones ( but there can be the loud one now and then)....but overall very quiet... Nothing like the main lodge... Same goes for the pool..... Quiet again, all the pool parties are at the main pool and that's a building apart....

We were always on the east side facing the forest to the lake... Not much of a view but most of the villas are as such.... All in all a great quiet place, but a good hike to the food court..

Just switched to bunk bed room. I hope it works well for us. It should at least let DH and I share a bed.

KOOK- They'll know who he is...the really annoying pain in the ***!

DD is feeling better, the virus is pretty much gone. But, the ortho Dr said 1 more week with the cast (after they took it off & xrayed)

. Not a happy camper. So we picked out a red cast & painted white Minnie polka dots & some black Mickey heads on it

and we are ok now...BESIDES...

we only have 30 Days to go

I've been busy packing for our 3 generation family trip to Lake MI that begins in 2 days so I was not caught up on the disboards until this morning.

How cool is that! We thought we were pretty unique with our situation, so it is neat to see someone else with the same excitement about getting to go back a few years after a great honeymoon. We considered other resorts, but after waiting this long to go back we had to go "home". Getting to hang out at the Grand Californian helped us get through the five years though, and it looks like that has been your approach too!

Thanks for the well wishes, and we'll report on our trip when we get back and you'll be just about ready for your Mickey Mail. Our original plan was to go later in the year and see it decorated for the holidays, but DD turns 3 in September so we couldn't pass up on the opportunity to go while she's still free. Enjoy it, it will be beautiful to see.

If only if only! Yankee did provide the scent for Sheraton resorts awhile back, not sure if we still do or not. There's a certain smell at BC & Poly too that I want to re-create!

Still waiting on AP rates....it's come down to WL if the discount is good, or POR if the discount isn't good at WL. BUT then I WILL be booking WL for spring to bring my sons to - they've always wanted to stay there.

Okay now that the RC'ers have convinced me that my WL stay in Feb will be great, I am finally posting over here after lurking a few weeks back

Now I need to catch up over here, but funny how I see alot of the RC'ers here too

KOOK, looks like you were in my territory today! Not sure what brought you to Boca, but sorry you had to pass I-4, just to have to drive back north again. Florida has such boring highways, I dread the 3 hour drive and staring at land and cows

Well looks like I have some reading and catching up to do.

I just booked my 2013 Christmas stay at WL - OFC. We will be staying 5 nights at WL follwed by a 4 night cruise on the Dream for New Years. (Thinking that we WON'T go on a big vacay in summer 2013 so that we can save those $$$ for the Christma/New Years trip).

So excited to be going at the holidays - even if it is a year and a half away.

Totally off topic but speaking of Yankee Candles...our Yankee Candle store was on Undercover Boss this spring - and they're re-running it Friday, 8/31 on CBS at 8pm if anyone wants to watch!
