Andy does Shakespeare in the park. He'll deny it and just say he googled the quote or something, but don't let that fool you.

I got busy and missed a number of fairly easy ones.

As for reading right over top of the Sherlock Holmes quote…
I just feel bad about that one.
+1

And don't feel bad. That was funny.

Dang, I hate to guess that, because your kids are such s.
Yes, the kids are angels, and would never, ever, argue over something as trivial as a phone.

Nope.

Nothing stands out and over thinking it has not been a good strategy thus far.
So it’s time to officially go with the obvious (or the Oblivious as the case may be)
and officially chose the obviously wrong answer. Namely…
that the young’ens had one or two minor problems sharing the phone.
Very popular guess in this round. Nobody thinks my kids can get along, apparently.

I can say definitively that someone or some people have correctly identified the lie in this chapter.

Mark, I know I'm late in the game, but I just wanted to let you know that I've signed on for the TR and just finished reading your 2010 report, which I thoroughly enjoyed. DH had to ask me multiple times what I was laughing at and before I knew it he decided he just had to read it himself!

I'm really looking forward to more updates on this one! What a great family you have. You remind me much of my own family traveling to WDW when I was little and a daredevil and my younger brother had to be coaxed and cajoled to do most every ride. As you're already experiencing, their appetite for adventure will grow with age and my ultra cautious younger brother will now do every and any ride you can throw at him (some that I won't even do now!)

This TR is getting me even more excited for my upcoming October trip, which I didn't think was possible!

A very good argument was made for that one, but then again it is Mark we're talking about. I could see father and son reenacting a "bathroom" scene from Big Daddy somewhere in Italy.

Jayne!

And thanks so much for the compliment! I appreciate you reading my drivel. And then forcing your husband to read it. Hopefully he'll recover soon.

I was always ultra-cautious as a kid too, and now it's coming back to haunt me with my boys. Somewhere my parents are laughing at me.

They do have that fountain right in the middle of the plaza.

Seriously??? I referenced Hamlet first. If you get a point for that I'm boycotting this TR.

Julie did indeed order the chicken-wrap-flatbread-whatever-it-was thingy.

The kids did indeed share the phone during spy missions very well.

I tried to test your knowledge of Walt Disney World geography with this chapter, and it appears that Vanessa is the only one who passed the challenge. Much like there is no basement in the Alamo, there are no bathrooms in the Italy Pavilion. I found this out the hard way after running around frantically with a son who really needed to go. Rather than barge through a sit-down restaurant, I briefly considered using the fountain before asking for directions (as a man, that killed me to do so) and being told I had to take poor Dave over to Germany.

Good job Vanessa!

I'm going to have to uphold Andy's protest in this case. Andy gets the point for making everybody laugh. I just continued his joke.
