We are considering shipping a box of food and drinks down for our 2 year old so we know he's getting some food he likes. Would you suggest buying here and shipping it or ordering from a grocery service and having it delivered. What has been your experience with both?

So excited for our trip....just wanted to see our countdown!

There is a service out there now called Kelly's PDS (Personal Disney Shopper) and she will shop for you and deliver it to your resort, for a fee of course. I haven't used her services, but saw her info on a friend's Facebook page and checked out her website, looks like a great service. Her site is kellyspds.com

Thats going way over board on mark up
Cosco is the best deal... I think it was about $7, including shipping.

FYI for those asking about shipping packages to the resort!

also put the full name of the person who is listed first on the ressie, your ressie # and date of arrival!!!

I have used Garden Grocers twice and always had great service! there is a $40 min though.

Well, I was thinking of Garden Grocer for the first time, but after seeing the $40 minimum, (I only want water) unless my friends want to order diet sodas and Snapple (if they have this) I think I'll go with the Walmart water. Thanks for that advice as you can't beat that price.
Now that we're into September I'm working like crazy on our shirts and I can't believe how close we're getting to our LM visit!

Online check-in done for my Little Mermaid room on opening day completed!

The only room request option it gave me was a pack n play. No building options.

Our flight comes in at 2, and I was telling hubby that maybe they will overbook the first day, and by the time we get there, they will have to upgrade us to a suite. He said, "well now that you've said it, it won't happen."

I just did my LM online check in too and was suprised we couldn't make any room requests! Very exciting though and it's funny but I said the exact same thing to my husband yesterday about overbooking and maybe we will get a suite!Haha!!!

We have been joking about the same thing. Lol Lion King would be DS9's dream. He said he was going to have 4 kids so the would need the LK suite, since there would be 6 with his wife.

10 days!!

I am going back and forth trying to decide if I should do online check in. We have 2 rooms booked and have requested connecting LM rooms closest to Animation Hall. Recent threads about checking in online have said that if you have requests then don't check in online. But wouldn't checking in online give us a better chance of getting our request granted since it will be confirmed we will be arriving on 9/15?

Does anyone have any further insight about online check in?

When we checked in online at AoA, all that was offered in the way of request was a crib. however we did receive the lake view we had requested earlier.

That is absolutely adorable, and what a very smart Disney kid future planner!

I know I promised you a picture of the view from our suite window. I haven't forgotten you, photobucket is holding my account hostage. I've had to change the password and it still won't let me access my account. hopefully soon it will be resolved.
