A few bumps...
Just returned.
Enjoyed the resort. The 3 sleeping areas really was key for our family. Worked out very well. Some bumps, however. I gave the front desk my credit card so we could charge things back to the room. She neglected to enter a dollar amount (usually $500.00) on the room charge so we could charge things. Found out at dinner at SAn Angel Inn, with a $150.00 dinner charge that we had were not able to charge anything on our room key. Luckily, between us, we came up with the cash. But the most important thing is, I had $700.00 in visa gift cards taken out of my travel wallet, which was left on the dresser. I used the safe most of the time, but one day I didn't. Gift cards were quickly used at the Kissemmee Target. Reports were filed with Disney security and police. Always use the safe! |

And seriously.... how stupid does the housekeeper have to be to think they won't figure out who did it. Sure other hotel staff have keys, but they wouldn't know yours would be the one room where someone left out their gift cards. |

LM king beds
Would anyone happen to know if the king bed rooms are located in all the LM buildings? Thanks!

we check in a week from tomorrow. We are so excited so stay in the cars suite, even if it for only 2 nights. We then switch over to pop for 5 more nights, so we can still go over the bridge to see the cars yet save some money.

So sorry about the theft. We'll be at AofA in a few weeks and we'll be extra careful. But it's a goos reminder for everyone to always safeguard anything of value anywhere; Disney's not immune to crime. |

A question about getting a FN suite - My kids are really set on FN room, and aren't keen on either Cars or LK. We are going to be there the second week of May, and at the moment the FN rooms are full. If you go to sites like hotels.com and Expedia they have FN rooms, but they aren't offering the 15% discount on them, like they are for the other two themes.
So my question is, what is my best approach at this point? Do I just stalk the Disney site and hope to jump on a cancellation? Would working through a travel agent do me any good? Any other creative solutions? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Is that what you're trying for, the special offer? If so then it may be a guessing game when or if any FN rooms may free up for that. If you're willing to just pay rack rates for FN, I'd check disneyworld.com again or call Disney Travel directly. I suspect they do have rooms available at full price. This is the special offer I'm referring to: http://bookwdw.reservations.disney.g...t=fy13q2q3room

Just booked
We just booked 3nights at LM in August before our package at CR starts. My DDs are going to be surprised.
