Rain Forest 1-Day Pass ~ Disney Dream

Is the Rain Forest 1-Day Pass worth it? What does it include? Do you have to specify a day?

They were not available to purchase on the dream last week (at least not when I asked about it on the first day).

I purchased one online last week for my upcoming Fantasy Cruise. Just wanted to try it out as it sounds pretty cool!

We've done the pass for the length of the cruise twice and it's worked well for us.

I need a heated tile lounger at home .

FYI, they're listed in the "In-Room Gifts and Shopping" section under "Spa, Photo, and Beverage Pre-purchase Options" (that you have to order in advance either by phone or fax)-- not under the "Cruise Activities" section (that you can book online). We ordered a couple for our upcoming Dream cruise based on these reports that the one-day passes may not be sold on the ship.

It's VERY relaxing there. I'd use the facilities after a workout (to allow myself two deserts)! It's classy, amenities like shavers, mouthwash, good quality hair and skin products, etc. make it nice to shower and clean up in a bigger space than your cabin's bathroom. The only "disruption" (which is NOTHING) is people in and out that are getting a massage service and their masseuse is looking for them. I personally think it's worth it, because my life is NOT that serene otherwise.

If you search the forums for "rainforest", there are a bunch of posts with more info... also photos here!

Are you thinking of the Rainforest Room or the general spa showers that everyone can use for no charge, like the workout facilities?

Yes - anyone can use the locker room/showers, etc. Well, any adult.

I agree, very nice. With our family of five - its a nice place to shower/change, have some room, and allow more space/time for the rest of the family in the stateroom.

But - it is nice to have the rainforest area after a workout. Much easier to get to the hot tub. The saunas and showers are wonderful - but the loungers are even more wonderful.

oh, definitely doing this one day pass for dh and myself. The article I read said that it's co-ed so you wear a swim suit, but are you doing the showers etc alone or with other people?

so do you just call this in and then get some kind of confirmation?

I also want to do the celebration birthday decorations for my dd.

How do they handle the confirmation - will it show up online somewhere for your cruise?

thanks.

This sounds soooo amazing! Cannot wait to try this out on my cruise! I only wish that I could take my 12yo daughter, she would sooo love this! LOL I'm going to feel awkward using this by myself. DH wants nothing to do with this.

I know, we have such pampered young girls, don't we? My 12, 13 on cruise, would SO love it as well!

Just found out she could go in the Chill Spa on the Fantasy, yay!

do you book for a certain day on the one day pass, or do you just go whatever day you like?

I purchased one day passes for DH and myself in advance last summer for our Dream cruise... When we arrived in our stateroom, an envelope was waiting for us with Rainforest Room tickets inside. There was no date specified; we could use them anytime.

We went later in the afternoon after coming back from Castawy Cay. The special showers there were a great way to wash off the sand and freshen up. It was also really relaxing to lounge in the tile chairs or hot tubs with a view of CC.

Highly recommend the experience! Enjoy!!
