The first 2 of this batch were from Ariel's. After that was a group from Toontown. Guess it might be nice if we all were to label where the light fixtures in our photos were located. Think I will go back and do that right now!

I think we are 'guessing' after people post and then you are free to answer I think it's fun to try and figure it out and doubley so when people tell you, like Mariezp did for me, if you were correct.

Of course I have been known to look at answer keys while doing crosswords too

I'm glad you finally had a chance to pop in and join us! Did you notice that I gave you a tip o' the hat in the first post? You are probably THE first person I became aware of who posted light fixture photos in a TR. Deejdigsdis was the next person, and then probably Mariezp, etc.

Neon or any kind of lighting effect or light fixture is totally OK - basically anything where light is prominent, either in the design/theme of the fixture itself or just in the overall illumination factor.

I think that the guessing is good in theory - it was a great idea that Bret/mvf-m11c had to make it a fun game when I started this thread - but I don't know how many people are actually going to guess. There are a lot of photos that have already gone by and no one has guessed the locations (aloud).

I've known where some (not all) of the lights have been located because I've read the TR's of the people who posted the photos, so I felt I had an unfair advantage and didn't want to speak up.

I think it's up to each person, on a case by case basis - if you all want to identify where your photos are from, go right ahead. If you'd rather that people guess and you don't want to identify them, that's fine too. At the end of the day this is another 'share your photos of [fill in the blank/Disney-related subject]' thread (like the flowers, the bathroom signs, etc.), so as long as we have photos coming through I think we're all happy!





Marie - You must must must post your Hook light fixture photo! That is one of the best ones! (I don't think I overlooked it in this thread, did I? Maybe I did...)

Thank you, everyone, for continuing to post your wonderful pictures! I'm so glad the thread idea seems to be a hit - I had a feeling it would be! I knew there had to be a secret society of light fixture photographers out there, just sitting on a hotbed o' pictures!

You haven't missed it yet. I am going through my photos starting from the earlier years so it may take a little bit before I get to it. Patience, my dear, patience.
