Count me in. We are thinking the later part of April and hoping to celebrate my sweet girl's birthday while in Disney.

Up in the air on hotels as well. Thinking about Saratoga Springs, BLT or Animation.

Will take a discount of almost any kind!

The rack rate for POR is $4611 (standard room) for 3 rooms right now. Gonna use the AAA rate to book, which is 10% ($4150) to start with. If I can get a 20% - 30% deal before we leave, I'll use some of that savings to go preferred.

Edit: Booked prefferred for $4722 ($5247 rack) room only through AAA (10%). Hoping for a 20 - 30% offer later on.

C'mon deals!

Haven't been to Disney in a few years, so I am a bit out of the loop, but we are planning on going April 1-7, 2013 and would love a pin code or free dining. Can anyone point me to a thread or place where the "tricks" of getting them to send you a pin code are outlined? I am afraid that since we haven't been since 2009 we've likely fallen off the list.

Thanks!!

Called to see if I could add AAA discount to a room only reservation at LM room at AoA 4/17-4/27/13. They told me no AAA discount available for LM, only suites.

I'll keep trying.

I just called again, talked to someone different and he told me the same thing. The system won't allow him to use the AAA discount on a LM room. He said they may have decided to exclude them right now. I'll call every week if I have too.

I glad that you were able to get the discount.

well I believe they only have a certain # of rooms for every discount, so the rooms available for the AAA discount may have already been all booked up.

If not, we'll likely go with the Dolphin and my SPG discount. If the price works out the same, Dolphin will be the pick.

Here's hoping
Funny- almost exact situation here. We are planning April 15-25. We are cosidering POR (even though busing made me swear we would never go back), but after 2 trips this year, have to keep this trip cheaper. I know we got FD in March this year, but never seen it in April. If not we are looking at Swan/Dolphin also.

Count me in for waiting for ANY kind of code or promotion, LOL!

Going the 22-29th, staying at POR, though we might change to a Value depending on how some things go this winter. Either way, we're excited!

going April 13-19, I am waiting for some sort of room discount. I can get a airline discount but it is room only which stinks if you want to add dinning, can't do it. Boggles the mind!

i had a pinned code last year, but I was broke. It was an amaising promo, would have saved us about 1000$

Hoping for another one this year. We're planning on going April 21st - 27th.

I'm booked in from the 7th April - 21st April at PORS, we booked in May and got free dining ( uk resident). As there are 5 of us going this will hopefully save us a huge amount.
