I have a very dark/cynical/sarcastic sense of humor that doesn't translate well to the internet at times so I try to minimize my humor here for fear of insulting someone.

With that said after reading this thread I noticed the Tag Fairy's zany sense of humor! Here I thought everyone was in on some kind of strange inside joke and I just wasn't part of the club.

I believe in the Tag Fairy but apparently she doesn't believe in me quite yet. One day I will say something brilliant & she will grace me with her presence but until then I will marvel at the wonderful things she does for the other DISers.

You have to remember too...get out there on all sections of the DIS. If you want the TF to see you, you have make sure your posts are everywhere...not just one section. Maybe you do this now but if not, give it a shot!

For those who have been tagged recently, where were you posting when you got tagged?

I've been chasing the Tag Fairy for a while because I want moving ones. Believe, believe, believe. Give her cookies, and bacon. I hear she LOVES bacon.

Singing the Oscar Mayer bacon song....don't ask, I just made it up.

I love my tags.

I got my tags on the community board. On one thread I shared the tale of breaking my leg when I fell down the stairs at Mexico in Epcot. Not a pretty story but I can laugh about my apparent clumsiness now. The other tags were just a case of the tag fairy feeling benevolent. I made my own little tags about my large family and questionable sanity in part due to the large family. But my tags weren't nifty colors like the tag fairy's tags. She must have noticed this fact at some point and fixed me up with some colors! I'm not sure which board I was on when I was gifted with the colors on my own tags.

When I heard "Fins" by Jimmy Buffet, I thought the lyrics were "They hang out in the local bars,

I was belting it out one day in the car and the kids started laughing hysterically. After they were able to regain their composure they informed me of the proper lyrics: "They hang out in the local bars,

And here I thought my lyrics made perfect sense!!

Now it is a joke in our house when we hear that song!

I am jumping for joy and dancing around my living room over my first ever tag! You would think my DH told me we could take a trip to Disneyland, well he did recently but, that's another story.

I have been using the Dis mobile app (which i am loving) exclusively the past few weeks, so I'm guessing the tag has been here for a bit.

I love my new tag and glad it reflects a significant part of who I am.

Thank you tag fairy (and Max the former Intern for being the subject of my quote)!!
