Hi Deena

When we were on DME, DH and I were discussing your move

I am very excited for you!!!

We had lunch at Via Napoli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually all our food was yummy! We did mostly CS.

I would HIGHLY recommend WL CL!!!

My new favorite CL list is,

WL OFC

GF SL

YC CL

AKL CL

DH and I actually discussed this over airport Cold Stone last night...

it's not just about the offerings, it's everything...CMs, resort, etc....

And the Poly lover DH...after visiting the Poly..although we had a wonderful time chatting with sis...actually said he had no desire to stay there anymore....he said "It felt dated"

I was really surprised by this, I thought he LOVED our room in November, and the Tambu lounge, beach, castle....but after the WL...EVERYTHING changed.

He still loves the values BUT, when we discussed April, he said WL!!!!! I kept mentioning AoA, and he said no WL... Which means I got the OK to book April in WDW (and US/IoA)

I did finally bring up the HRH and I trip...it's a definite No , for many reasons. And it's OK....even for HRH....

How wonderful!!!! Was she able to extend?? Fingers crossed!

It has been so much fun to follow along the live TR (and texts!) - truly a magical trip!

Hugs to all!

You know if you need any advise I'm an expert at adding on days to my trip while I'm sitting in my resort room!!!

I knew Jeanette was getting back so I had to stop by and say hello!!! I was lurking on my phone the other day I heard the WL was a hit!! I have to hear all about this room that I continue to book, but never stay in

Pas... that's how we do our days... out in the morning, lunch, back to resort, swim/waterpark, dinner, back to park. I think I need a little Blizzard Beach in my life soon... I'm looking pale.

I loved the pic of the RC sisters!!! OMG, and I melted when I saw Princess Lilyana and Pooh Bear on FB!! I hope both had great trips, and there's a few leaving soon I know!! Safe travels!!

As I am a true changer.... I moved our move in date from the 31st to the 29th. So we'll be leaving on the 28th, and pulling in on the 29th. I have a lunch ADR for Via Napoli on the 30th at 3pm.... so I'll be in Epcot late afternoon on Thursday! I figure we'll be tired from traveling and won't feel like immediately jumping into unpacking--so I figured go to the parks before the weekend which will be a little crazier with the holiday. Hoping to visit Kook for a bit before she leaves town

On a side note... DH also requested that we eat at Boatwright's the weekend that we move. He said it's one of his favorites. So there you have it folks... a hidden gem. Maybe we'll watch some Yehaa Bob too. He's great!! If you haven't seen him--you need to go over to POR on a night he's playing!! That would make for a great RC get together!!

Even though there are boxes everywhere... it seems as if nothing is packed. Stepmom came to get her dog, so we're back to a 1 dog family. I found a $100 honeybaked ham gift certificate last night while packing, lol. It was an xmas gift a while ago. I went and spent $100.58 and got food for the rest of our time here. It's like eating for free!

I'm still undecided about our anniversary night. It'll have to be a pretty sweet AP discount to justify it... I guess we'll see after we're settled. I mean... 3 miles away?? If it's $400ish for a night, that's like 3 meals at the California Grill that we can space out. I dunno--I think it'll help once we see how our pay and bills pan out once we're settled. Also... the thought of leaving Baxter over night hurts my feelings. We'll see. At least my ADR for CG is in order. That's for certain.

Okay... well my "lunch break" is over and I need to keep stuffing boxes full of schtuff. I'd like to start keeping in touch more so hopefully I can plan some meets with my favorite ladies!!!

Love and miss you all
Your move is getting so close .... so excited for you and DH! I agree Yehaa Bob would be a really fun RC meet.

G'morning... err... g'afternoon to all!

Koh: Sure, I'd give the resort a call. Or Disney Florists if something strikes your fancy.

JC: All the pixie dust I can muster out to you... Thinking of you! What did you get whilst shopping yesterday? I'll have to send you my email address... so we can do a BC lounge meet? I'm another shy one, be forewarned! (Silly, isn't it?)

Jenny: Ooooh, we're getting close, aren't we?

Pas: Wow! That's quite the endorsement! Hmmm. If we ever stay over in a MK resort in the near-ish future, I think WL will have to be a contender, with so many of you singing the praises of WL. I'm so glad you were able to stay in your room! Uh-oh, deprogramming? This sounds like exactly what happened after our house guest left (I'm still trying to recover mentally.) Speaking of contenders...

Magic: I think the CR Garden Wing is to our "To Do" list. Since we almost did it this trip, want to give it a fair shot and all.

Sheila: A F&W and MNSSHP sounds faaaabulous! What ADRs have you changed?

I_Heart: One day now! I'm so shy too! I'm going to have to rely on JC being not shy for our meet-up in September!

Candace: I kinda felt that way about booking BC this year. I was worried we wouldn't have the wonderful experience again -- that it wouldn't live up to last year... but then I thought we'd spend the whole time wishing we were at the BC. That feeling won out. That's of no help whatsoever, I know!

GG: Eesh with the fleas. Sorry. I hope she finds a place she likes. Any word on whether she'll go the flat-mate route or is she going to stay on her own?

Marie: Sorry about the car situation. That sucks!

Step: One day!

Amanda: Heya!

Deena: Great update! Boatwrights, eh? Hmmm. We'll be staying at POR for two nights.

Dani: 14 days back at your "home" (Home of the Best WDW Drink Ever!), sounds like just the ticket! No luck on extending this trip?

Christine: Hello!

Hi everyone!!

Wow I can't keep up here today!

Miss: Don't worry about bring shy....I am too...sort of...!! No really, I am always excited to meet new friends...30 days from today we will be at the Poly!!

Minnie&Nana and GG: Hi there!!

Pas: So glad you had a great trip! It sounds like we need to check out the WL!! First Candace and now you make it sound so magical!

Deena: wishing a stress free and easy move!!

Dani: That is amazing that you have decided on another trip to the Poly...and 14 nights! Wow...I love that your mom loved it too!

Going to pick up the DD's soon, I have DD3 already, her camp was only 1/2 day. I will feel better after this day is over and they can tell me how fun it was!

Pas Welcome home! I'm glad your trip was everything you hoped for and more. WL vs RPC for the next trip or maybe both?

Deena Good luck with the move. It sounds like Orlando will be a great fit for you.

Marie I vote for Subaru also. I had one when I lived in Tahoe and Mammoth Lakes. They are great in the snow and ice. We just bought a VW Passat 2 weeks ago. Love it. I know what dealing with the Car sharks is like. I can't believe the crap they try to pull. Shopping for a car is pure torture in my opionion.

As for me. I was floored when Bday boy said he wanted BW CL over YC Cl. Was YC Cl really that bad???......hmm. It must have been because he loves that Yc pool. BW Cl was N/A, but I was able to push it back a day and get BC CL GV.I'm happy I don't have to look at a parking lot, and I'm really happy I don't have to upgrade to LV not to look at a parking lot. I also tried to upgade the Wl CL to Poly GV Cl....also N/A. I'm kind of relieved with that one. As much as I prefer the Poly I prefer the Wl price. Lots of changes today, but my ticker remains the same. 12 nights total. 5 at WL cl/2 Akl CL and 5 BC Cl. I'm not sure the Christmas trip will happen. I have overspent, overworked and I'm overtired. Those three things always go together. If not Christmas then Star Wars weekend will be our next trip.

If I'm not around much over the next few weeks I just want to say to all of you with trips coming up HAVE FUN and safe travels.

I will defenitely give you my thoughts on all the Club levels. This trip will make it 5 CL's we have tried.

I apologize for missing most of you in the multi-quote. I am overwhelmed with tasks before we leave for over two weeks. I'll be sure and post this weekend from BLT (BLuT).

So... Again....Someone catch me up. Who's there, now? Where are we meeting? Kook, where are you sister? I've been shopping, cleaning up, preparing my classroom, etc. I need a quick catch up. Is Pas there now?

Oh no, we leave early on the 30th. I had to change our dates due to DD's freshman orientation. But, I'm hopeful that you'll be able to make a visit to the happiest place on earth the next time we're there

Jeanette!!!. So glad you loved the WL!!! It truly is a wonderful resort!!!

I know what your DH feels about the Poly...last month was the first time I had set foot on Poly property since 1985...and honestly, it felt....exactly.the.same.

The furnishings in the general area were, well....shabby

I do not mean to speak badly about the Poly, but I just don't think it's our thing...I think the "theming" must go over our heads or something. Obviously, we've switched from the Poly to BWI, and I don't know what it is but when I book Poly I get a pit in the bottom of my stomach...it's all about personal preference though...many people feel the same about our beloved WL!!

DH really (surprisingly) like the GF and wants to stay there, but the construction is HIDEOUS!!! I was feeling really bad for people who were paying to stay there right now...I think once it's all done, we may give it a shot...but when we did our tours of YC/BC/BWI, DH felt that BWI was most like GF and took a liking to it. It is very much our taste, so despite the clown pool, we are giving it a shot. (I'm the only one afraid of clowns)

I'll be there but in a studio for 4 nights in Oct! I stayed there one other time also in a studio but it was only for one night before moving to BCV. The only bad thing was getting something quick to eat in the morning or refilling my mug but since you are staying CL that won't be a problem for you.

....and my DH has banned the purchase of anymore mugs....we have 18 mugs in our house

4 for each of us the last 3 trips, and then the other 6 are from DH and my trips together before kids....

I'm only allowed to get another mug if the go back to resort specific...otherwise, it's a no go. It's another reason he doesn't want the DDP this trip, he doesn't want another stinkin' mug!

You switched from Poly to BWI...WOW that is a SHOCKER..I agree if you like the GF, BWI decor has a similar "feel" but it's not a big white castle....ahhhhh when the GF construction is done.....maybe....

I'll have to go and catch up! I've been so busy with this car issue that I haven't had much time for the computer except to research vehicles! I thought you'd like to know:

VERDICT: ok, we ended up being about $7,000 negative due to the FORD ESCSPE balloon loan mistake. there won't be reprieve from payments, the new vehicle will start as soon as we sign and pick up the vehicle next week.....BUT, I decided when all was said and done to go with the SUBARU Forrester. I know the HYUNDAI had lots of bling, and protection to the hilt with windshield, paint, undercoating , 3 m protections.....but when you look at the fine print financing, I end up paying for the stuff anyway with an "accessory" charge of $5,000
So, I decided ultimately, the Subaru is more reliable, I'll feel safer in the winter driving, AWD is not beat in Subaru, and although it lacks the bling, it has some nice features....I went with the touring pckg, mid line.....it has a nice panoramic sunroof, heated front seats Bluetooth. It is very nice looking, but a bit sparser and more basic than the Hyundai. Being a lady, it fits me really nicely, it handles like it's stuck to the road....very nice! I feel like I have made a solid purchase....albeit, an expensive mistake with our ford, but we now know to scrutinize deals very closely. The fact that you can hardly find older Subarus speaks to the reliability of this vehicle!! Finally I get to say I'm part of the SUBBY Family!
I hope I don't get buyers remorse, but I have a feeling that WON'T happen!
ETA: the overall financed amount for the Subaru was less than they where going to charge for the Hyundai, so that was a plus.....I ended up paying $29,140 for my forrester.....with my 7k negative equity, I DO end up financing about $36k....but Hyundai wanted to finance over $40k....so I was better of with the Subaru deal! hopefully I'll have my new baby next week sometime!

PAS: welcome home!!! Glad to hear you loved WL.....y'all are making me want to stay there! But.....I WILL NOT CHANGE!!!!! ACTUALLY, I just realized, I CAN'T!!!! IT'S MY 45 day mark today!!!!!
So, I'll take the chance and hope the POLY has me loving it too Sad to hear your Sept trip is off but glad you'll be getting back again soon!!!
