Melissa, Missoutandabout, and Padawans, YC/BC seems to have really worked to give options while the changes and refurbs are taking place. Missout, I think it was a great idea to send a letter to the manager. Surely they will figure out something other than filling SAB with non-Disney hotel guests. That just doesn’t make any sense to me, and I hope it doesn’t make sense to Disney management, either.

Marie, Your days are going to fly by, I think. Your dh has a busy Sept planned with a trip across the pond. We lived in England (Suffolk) for a few years, and really enjoyed it.

And the latest news…I got a text from ds yesterday. it said:

“Just making sure, you want to go by nana for your second grandchild, right?”

Of course, I called him right away. He and ddil are very happy. We are thrilled for them! My parents passed young, so for me to be here, at 53, enjoying life with dh and our grown kids is a blessing to me. I don’t take it for granted. It’s great to be a nana.

Ginny CONGRATS!!!! That is very exciting news

Candace From what I can tell and I haven’t been on the BC&YC boards religiously, so take it with a grain of salt. The CL was moved to the presidential suite at BC so that the carpets could be replaced and possibly some other refurbs. The gym was also closed about the same time and some equipment moved to the solarium. From what I can tell these were both unexpected refurbs. As for SAB, it seems the Dolphin is having major pool issues and there was one family that was able to get wristbands for SAB, and it seems like this may be what the Dolphin is going to do while the pool is down.

I've been away for a few months - not from The DIS, just from the RC-ers! But now I find myself already having changed my October ressie once (from WL to POR) and I'm playing around with my Jan trip.
