About a 2 minute car ride, or a 5 minute bus ride (the DTD bus goes Jambo to Kidani) or a 10 minute leisurely walk!

So can you take a bus from Kidani to Jambo? Or do you have to circle around to DTD first? thanks

Sue isn't it strange how everyone else is well into their day by the time some of us can get on a computer.

I really do have jet lag the first couple of days I am at WDW. To make rope drop after coffee and something to eat at 8ish East Coast time my body is getting up at 3:00 AM pacific time.

Wow...nine whole days in Missouri. Don't think you will be able to see much in that time.

Seriously hope you have a good trip and eat some good mid-western beef. I am from the mid-west. Sure do miss them...the beef....not the climate.

Graham has no interest in going and it has kind of become a tradition that we have a really nice meal on the last night. So I have been wondering if I should just add a night to our vacation. We have the points to do so. Unfortunately there are no studios available at OKW for that date. We do have enough points for a One Bedroom and I am quite curious about this, but I wonder if it is worth moving rooms again for one night. What do you guys think?

Corinna
Corinna, it is so easy to move with Disney taking care of all the heavy lifting. I would go for it.

Oh I love it! You have the most amazing D&B Disney collection
Hope to find a WDW anniversary messanger while I am there this year.

Grab any park bus at Kidani -- it will stop at Jambo before leaving the property! (The DTD bus goes to Jambo, then Kidani, before heading off property.)

Actually only 7 days -- travel in day/travel home day!

I usually live on salads when traveling for business. Sometimes don't get to eat dinner until 9 or 10pm -- a little late for a steak dinner! (but not too late for libations!! )

Corinna, I agree, if you can stay an extra day go for it. And you can always waitlist a studio as well as booking the 1 BR.

Brandi, beautiful purchases!

Glad you're feeling better Wendy I'd much rather have rain than the heat we've been having. But of course I usually think the grass always looks greener on the other side....

Kim, the Tag Fairy's link doesn't come here, am I missing something?

I hope everyone has had a wonderful day

Just went to try it again. It took me to a blank page with a message 'No thread specified. If you followed a valid link notify the administrator.' I have never seen that before.

It's brutal, I agree! I'm glad I usually fly into Ft. Lauderdale first for a week to visit family, so get rid of my jet lag there gently! No rope drops and can sleep in the first day or so.
But the times I fly directly into MCO ugh!

Oh also if you are there on a friday, and love gumbo there is a great southern food restaurant. If you go during lunch they have the best Gumbo, and green apple lemonade. It tastes like a green apple jolly rancher. The restaurant is in the same complex as the cable company, it's super duper small though.

One of the few things i miss there is the food, they had some good restaurants.

We'll be at AKL 10/20 - 10/27 staying on the club level. I'm ready to leave now!

I found this thread because I'm looking for more information on things to do at the resort. We loved our first stay two years ago. I'll be reading the AKL threads to see what things to do are your favorites and what you think are the hidden gems of the resort.
Welcome!!!!

I don't know if you are at all into the jacuzzi tubs but OKW has the BEST tubs of all the DVC resorts! I would go for it!

Laura! Have a great time in Hawaii.

Other Laura enjoy Missouri!
