Dining at Palo and the wine package

Does Palo offers a separate wine list?
What if we have the wine package pre-booked for our cruise. I assume we can still use it at Palo or is it only valid for the MDRs?

You can use bottles from your wine package at Palo. I don't know about a separate wine list at Palo. sorry!

We used our wine package list at Palo. The waiter substituted the package list for Palo's wine list when we told him we had the package. DH was bummed though, because Palo's list was better.

Palo has an extensive wine list and a sommelier to help you chose the right wine. You are able to use your wine package a Palo as well.

Thanks for all the replies.

A bit off topic but can I expect dinner at Palo to take about 1.5 - 2 hours?
Read many reviews and it seems like most people has at least 4 or 5 courses (that's including the antipasti/bread service and also a small pasta course between the appetiser and main course).

About 2 hours is right. I could take longer depending on how much you linger over the courses.

One more thing. I remember having the MDR wine package once and when we dined in Palo, we were offered either a bottle off the package list, or a different bottle off Palo's list and we were given a credit (upcharged some) for the Palo bottle.

I want to re-iterate what PP said. We had the wine package & were able to upgrade to a Palo bottle for very little $ (IMO). I highly recommend doing that!

I assume this would apply at Remy as well. Can anyone confirm?

I also suspect that if you want wine that's not on the Palo list, they will try to accommodate you. When we went to Palo two years ago, my wife fell in love with one of the wines on the Palo list; and when we ate at Remy last year, the sommelier was able to "borrow" a bottle from Palo to bring over to her - he even took the label off when the bottle was empty and had it laminated for her!

If you dine at Remy, you will get an invitation to meet with the sommelier before your dinner to talk about wine choices.
