Big fan here. My wife and I are watching it the way we love to watch great TV shows... on DVD long after everybody else watches. If you can avoid being spoiled it's great because you can watch whenever you want and not have the week or months long cliffhangers. We did it with Lost too where we watched all of the first 5 seasons just before season 6 started. We're in the middle of the 2nd season of Breaking Bad now and making decent progress.

I really like to imagine that the entire series is just a long prequel to Malcolm in the Middle. In the final episode the first half hour will be about Walt escaping his current life and family and becoming Hal, and the second half hour will actually be a reair of the Malcolm in the Middle pilot episode.

We were HUGE fans of Malcolm in the Middle and Bryan's character was our favorite. When he started racking up the Emmys (two years in the row then) for Walter White we knew we had to tune in.

You don't know how funny what you think is given the teaser going into this season.

Yes he was. He was also on the Price is Right before being discovered. He's had many other appearances on other shows until hitting the big time with Big Love and then Breaking Bad.

I can't stand it. I can't watch the new episode until tonight, but I heard it is totally fantastic. UGH. Trying to keep myself from spoiling it by poking around.

I am late to the party as far as this show goes - it only took me 4 years to 'discover' it, but once I did...boy, was I hooked!

When Bryan Cranston was winning Emmy's every year for playing Walter White (and the only reason he didn't get nominated last year too is because the season didn't air in time to be eligible for last year's voting), I always thought, "Eh...if the Academy likes it then I won't like it because it's probably a serious, boring, slooooooow drama."

Needless to say, now I am mad that it took me so long to finally sit down and watch this show, and I am mad that now that I've become addicted to it I have to wait until next summer to see the final 8 episodes!

As soon as AMC starting running overnight episodes several months ago, I decided to watch a couple of them. At first, it took some patience to get through a couple of the 'slower' episodes. And then, before I knew it, "Breaking Bad" had seeped into my brain and I had to watch the entire series, one season after another. I think that, all tolled, I ended up watching every single show of every season twice. Some of the episodes are just outstanding. The acting is top notch from everyone in the cast (although I can't stand Skyler).

I just watched tonight's episode - the last one for 10 months - and I was riveted to the screen.

I saw an interview that Oprah did with Kelsey Grammer last weekend, and Kelsey was wondering why he hadn't been nominated for an Emmy this year for his role in "Boss."

I'll tell you why, Kelsey...because Bryan Cranston was nominated for his performance in Season 4 of "Breaking Bad," and you just cannot compete! Wait until BB goes off the air for good next year, and then maybe you'll get your nomination!

The scene where Jessie was yelling Walter about how he didn't have to follow orders because he didn't work for him, they were partners, etc....

I turned to DS and started singing, "You're not the boss of me, now..." DS rolled his eyes and shook his head. I think that means, "Damn, mom, you are very witty and I, for one, appreciate the humor!!"

It's a great show.

Counting the boring evenings until the final season of, "Breaking Bad". I can NOT wait until July.

We're doing a 7 night concierge cruise on the Fantasy in August and I'm stressing about the DVR messing up and missing something.

July 14 seems sooooo far away. Now that they are in production it's fun to follow the actors on twitter. Betsy Brandt was practically apoplectic the other day at what she was shooting. Gah!!!!!!

Anyone know when Season 5 Part 1 will be available on Netflix or DVD? I didn't watch it on AMC because I wanted to get through Season 4 first.

I bought the whole fifth (first 8) seasons on Amazon. I should have bought them on itunes but regardless, I couldn't have waited for Netflix.

I never listened to the podcast. I need to see if they're still available and check them out.

Princess Dolly -

I'm not even on Twitter but now you've got me eager to go over there and start reading Tweets!

There has been speculation and discussion about what would ultimately happen to Betsy's character (Marie) for a long time. I'm wondering if any of it will pan out!

All I know is, by the end of that series there is no fathomable way that all of the main characters (Walt, Sky, Walt, Jr., Baby Holly, Jesse, Hank, Marie) can survive. Bryan Cranston and Vince Gilligan both said it - there are too many people. Someone's got to go - but it may not be who we expect it to be!

By the way - Bryan Cranston should win the Golden Globe that he is nominated for this coming Sunday, but I have a feeling that the guy from "Homeland" will get it.

I am so conflicted over my feelings about the July return - on the one hand I am chomping at the bit for BB to come back. On the other hand I know it means that we only have 8 episodes left and it will be the very end. Since I caught on to BB so late in the game (4 years into its run) and had to play catch up very fast, in my mind it seems like the show just began! Unlike "Lost," I didn't follow BB from the start so it seems like it is being yanked from me too soon!

When I saw my friends at Disneyland last month, I was trying to get them to start watching BB. I am pretty positive that at least a few of my friends would love it, but for some reason people have a hard time wanting to sit and watch it. I know that it took me 4 years to finally watch one episode because it didn't seem appealing for whatever reasons.

So then I was trying to recommend certain episodes that might lure them in and make them want to go back to the beginning of BB. But I got the feeling that they thought the show sounded boring when I told them it is about a chemistry teacher who has cancer and starts 'cooking.' I don't even think the pilot episode of BB is very good, to be honest. But the series on a whole is outstanding and should not be missed!
