*NSYNC Performing Sunday Night?

Has anyone else been keeping up with this? The rumors are ALL over. Joey denied it, but no one believes him. Now their twitter account just tweeted about a mic check.

Anyone else excited?

I'm extremely excited. I wondered if anyone had started a post about this. LOL

It was reported today on Good Morning America that they would be "reuniting" for the VMA's.

Reuniting doesn't always mean performing. It could mean they are all on stage together. I sure hope it means a PERFORMANCE. Would love to see one.

TMZ asked Joey Fatone and he said he wasn't even going to the VMAs.

Wouldn't you think they'd get more viewers if they advertised it? I'm not planning on watching, but if I heard *NSYNC was going to perform, I would. And if they perform and I miss it, I can just watch it the next day on youtube.

i think JT hinted at it... reading all those news, it seems like JT was the one that screwed over nsync.

I totally admit to being a big 'NSYNC fan! If you read Lance Bass' book, you will see that this is essentially true. He did not put it in such terms, but it's pretty much what happened.

What do you mean "screwed over"? You mean left the group? Or something else?

No one could say that was a bad move on JT's part. It sucks for the other guys, but if they had that opportunity wouldn't they do the same thing?

I say it doesn't even suck for the other guys. They've all left wealthy and they all chose career paths that make them happy. Boy Bands don't have long life spans. They have to go away for awhile before they can reemerge for another career touring arenas filled with screaming old girls

This is coming from a 28-year-old male who grew up with girls who loved NSYNC:

The best thing Justin Timberlake ever did was leave NSYNC. I didn't care for him then, but I dig what he's doing during his solo career.

JC wanted a solo career too, so JT shouldn't get all the blame for the breakup. Joey has acted on Broadway and in some movies and TV shows. Lance has been all over the place for various things. I think Chris is the only one who laid low, and I think it was his choice to become a family man. He was already in his 30's when they stopped performing.

As of Friday night, they were still deciding if they were going to stand on stage together, sing one song, or sing a medley. I don't know what was finally decided, but I'm guessing they had a rehearsal yesterday if they are singing together.

I never said it was a bad move but him going solo basically ended the group. I love JTs music and think he's done great things
