I have TONS of questions!! We leave a week from tomorrow for a week stay in the LK suites. We should be able to do online check in today (assuming Disney.com gets their site up and working again) and I am not sure what section to request. We did not do the preferred room, however, looking at the layout, it looks like we would want to request a room in building 10. I believe this is what our travel agent did at the time of booking last January. Do you think that being on a certain floor makes a difference due to noise? I am a very light sleeper and would hate to have kids above me running all hours of the night. Thoughts appreciated! Thanks!!!

Hi! We were in Disney last week and stayed in LK with 3 kids. If you have to share a bed, the table bed is most comfy. But are you only traveling with a 6 year old and husband? If so, give her the fold out couch and you sleep on the table bed. : )

We had our 4 year old on a cot we brought in the Master, DH in master bed, DS1 on fold out couch, me in table bed and for DS 2 we made a bed by putting couch cushions together length wise and covering with a sheet, it was actually very firm and comfy, he loved it and we all got great sleep.

As far as noise, I too am a light sleeper and heard NOTHING from rooms upstairs or next door. However the halls are a different story, kids running up halls and yelling and doors slamming woke me several times. Before bed click the fan to on high instead of auto and that drowns out some noise, we also brought noise machines.

Took ME yesterday and it is the first stop. We had LM section and if you have mobility issues this is not the resort for you. You will need a W/C or scooter. There is no mug refill at LM. The QS is fabulous I had the male your own salad and diet coke for $14. The salad was awesome. We did go to HS and bus service was fine. We landed at 1pm bags were just getting to the room at 730pm. The pool though heated were cold. Shop was similar to Pop. Would I stay again. Probably not

Ackh we leaving for aoa in 3 weeks

Anything I should try to request? We are staying in nemo myself DH dd 4 and dd 8 months old. Thoughts? We are first timers

Personally, I would request a room not facing the pool area. Music is played at the pool and there is a ton of foot traffic along those pathways. There is a playground behind the pool and then the bridge to the Pop.

I stayed pool side at little mermaid and we never heard music not had traffic noise. But big blue might be another story.

We stayed in a Cars suite facing the pool in building one. We could hear music during the day, but it was quiet at night/early morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't have any issues with our 2 year old napping during the day. We loved the location we were in & my son loved saying goodnight & good morning to Mater every day!

We were in the nemo rooms right by big blue and we heard music starting at 7am. I am a light sleeper though and I was sleeping closest to the window in the bedroom. There were a couple times late at night that I could hear people in or by the pool.

If you plan on letting kids take a nap during the day I would definetly request non pool side.
