We are a family of 5 going (2 adults, 2 disney adults, 1 child). We are staying at POR preferred room from Sept. 2 to Sept. 10. We have free dining and 8 delicious sit down dinners planned. We have MYW tickets for 8 days. Price of trip $3300. We also got Jetblue tickets for $190 round trip from NY to MCO. No luggage fees and free snacks/drinks. So total for 8 nights/days with dining and tickets and transporation, $4250. Think we did pretty good.

8 nights at ASSp, 6 day WPF&M passes, free dining for 2 adults, 7 year old, and an infant = $2319.97. Plus add in spending money and gas money. Not too bad, though!

This is for my husband and myself who have not been to Disney World in 10 years. We are celebrating 28 years of marriage.

We originally booked POFQ then changed to WL then to POR and now we are finally at Coronado Springs.

Coronado Springs business class for 12 nights with regular dining plan and park hopper tickets = $5800

Round trip non-stop airfare on Southwest = $630

Two tickets to DVMCP = $157

Gift cards that I have been collecting for our oop expenses so far = $775

So far = $7500 without

Transportation to and from the airport
Tips for Mousekeeping etc
Rental Car
Tickets for La Nouba
Tickets for Behind the Magic
Pet Boarding

Will end up spending about $10K

Update again! We found a great deal on roundtrip, nonstop airfare on Southwest so we are flying instead of making the 9-10 hour drive each way. I had to move our trip forward by one day in order to get the good rate on the airfare and because we are checking in on a Saturday instead of a Sunday, our package rate increased by $16. So now for two adults and one child, we are paying $2016 for our 5 night, 6 day stay at POR in a royal room with 5 day MYW tickets and free dining, before applying the 5% discount we will receive by paying with gift cards purchased with our red card, plus $414 in airfare for all 3 of us instead of the $175-200 we had estimated for gas to drive down. We think it's worth the extra $200 or so to fly and save ourselves from all those hours in the car.

interesting prices from australia...

Dates of travel: September 28th to October 15th
Resort: Pop Century & Animal Kingdom Lodge
Room type: Standard & Deluxe Villa
Our group: Just me
Tickets: Already have Premiere Annual Pass(phew)
Dining plan: Disney Quick Service dining plan (2 cs, 1 snack per day plus a mug)
Trip insurance: Yes
Special Offers: None

Flights: $2400(hopefully no more)

Total: $5620

So my trip is purely because i bought the annual pass last year for the discounts, worked out about 120 bucks more than our tickets for WDW and DLR, but with all the savings, made the money back.

Hoping i can score free dining before i get there, but doubtful. Guess we shall see

Pop Century - September 17-25
Arrive by 1 on the 17th so almost full day/leave at 7 pm on last day to gain another day.

2 adults 1 child 9 yrs
9 day Park Hopper
Preferred room
Free Dining (upgraded to next level with 1TS, 1 QS, 1 Snack, Mug)

Not bad considering we have friends staying in state and they are $1000 in for just hotel and only 7 days, plus they will have to eat and the entertainment isn't even close to what we will be enjoying.

POR Nov 16-23

Hotel + Tickets = 2500ish

Airfare = 1400

We booked with a free dining pin so nothing out of pocket for food.

We're renting a car $500

=$4400 plus we'll probably have around $500 for spending so the trip is costing about 5000.

I wince if I think about it too much lol. Ah well, I know it's worth it.
