I don't wanna know All I have booked right now is our package - me, mom, three kids at POR for 7 nights with 8 day base tickets - no discount out yet - no dining added - just under $3100. Then me and the kids are doing 2 nights room only at Pop at the start and finish of our trip - hoping for a room only discount for those to come out too, I haven't booked those yet.

I did figure up dining and we save around $600 not paying for dining, so this will be our first OOP food trip (6th trip) unless free dining comes out and it's better than a room only discount.

Too much
3 adults one 11-year old - 12/31-01/07

" 2 nights at Little Mermaid rooms at AOA - $425.28
" 5 nights at POFQ garden view, reg. DP, 6day base tickets - $2402.74
" Food and beverage two days four people - $240
= $3,068.02

And then there is the airfare - $3,299
(Copenhagen - Orlando / 2 stops/four people)
- but we'll have 10 days in Orlando area before WDW

WDW + airfare = 6,367.02

And then we'll have all of the souvenirs, breakfast etc...... Think our holiday with Orlando, IoA, DC, WDW all incl. will cost about $10,500!!!! Oh my.. lol...

5 nights, Jan 2-7th, Pop Century, 2 adults, 2 junior, 5 day base tickets, QSDP with s/p/d discount $1791
1 night, Jan 1st, AKV Kidani Standard Studio, rented points $121
Gas, Atlanta, round trip, Camry hybrid, $120

Total $2032

I am sure we will spend more for food that first day and on new t-shirts, pins to trade from ebay, etc. before the trip.

We would also like to upgrade our ticket to AP as we have a spring break trip planned!

Airfare will be free thanks to points. The rest, let's just call it, "priceless". Memories that will last a lifetime.

Do you mind if I ask what promotion you are using? I have basically same package as you but almost double the price

Have you ever thought about using stayatWDW to rent DVC points. We used them for our trip and saved over 2K. I have full access to my reservation and they provide some awesome perks for booking with them.

Trip Plans

7 nights in January 2013

Resort - Sarasota Springs Resort

Room Type - 1 bedroom

Cost - $954 (RCI trade so I included my maintenance fee of $680+rci fee of $189 and disney fee of $95)

Party - 1 adult and 1 child

Tickets - Basic 7 day pass (no hoppers) - $560. Hoping for Yes Program tickets and this should save me $200.

$75 in souveniors (I am not much of a shopper but I usually give my son $50 a trip to spend)

Total estimate for trip: $2,239.
